*Outside the Spring Ball where Deamon has just been kicked out by Virgil*

D- Ugh, that was so not embarassing.

*The door slams Deamon into the wall as his guards come out*

Guard 1- Oh ho, that was awesome! Deamon must be SO embarrassed!

Guard 2- I wouldn’t want to show my face if I were him! Then again, who would want to look at that face?

Guard 3- Well, at least he doesn’t have to worry about being king anymore.

D- *Slams the door shut* I wouldn’t be so sure about that.

Guard 2- ...Sh!t.

D- Our job is far from done, lads. I will have Virgil, and I will have that crown.

AkiraNicole987: Deamon, why don't you take a hint.
Virgil isn't your missing link.
I know just what he thinks..... Bye! *leaves* 

Me: If anyone knows the song she was trying to reference, I love you😁 Hint: It's from a TV show named after the actress for the main character.

Guard 3- Uh, don't you have to marry Virgil to get the crown, though?

Guard 1- Well, can't he just use some of that love potion on the prince?

D- I don't need a potion to get what I want! Just wait, soon I'll have that spoiled brat practically begging me to forgive him!

Guard 3- I don't know, he didn't exactly look that torn up about it when he was punching you in the face.

D-*Punches the guard against the wall* Like that? Anyone else want to criticize my plans!?

Guard 1- No, no, we're good!

Guard 2- Never doubted you, boss!

*Deamon’s Guards rush out, carrying their friend*

D- *Rubs his hand* Tsk. Barely worth the bruise I'm going to have. No matter, I'll show them. I'll show them all that it will take a lot more than a simple hit to the face to stop me.

*Patton leaves the ball, hitting Deamon in the face with the door before closing most of the way and peeking through the door crack at the ball where Logan is standing against the wall, watching the party continue and tapping his foot to the rhythm*

D- *Stands behind Patton and looks between the two of them* Hmm. Hello, Patton.

P- *Jumps back and shuts the door* Ahh! Oh, hey there, Deamon! Watcha doin?

D- Oh, I was just getting cleaned up a bit after that little 'scuffle' back there.

P- Yeah, Virgil slammed you pretty good!

D- ...Yes, but enough about me. I'm much more interested in your love life.

P- M-my love life?

D- Oh, don't play coy with me. I've seen the way you look at a certain royal advisor whenever he's near.

P- W-well, He's my friend and has been for many years and he's always trusted me and I trust him and I- *starts rambling and glancing over at the door*

D- Patton.

P- *Smiles longingly while thinking about Logan* -e would always keep himself at a mature manner and he tries his best when-

D- *Snaps his fingers repeatedly* Patton.

P- Oh! And let's not forget his appearance shall we? He looks very handsome-

D- *Claps his hands multiple times* Pat. Ton! 

P- Oh, sorry, yes?

D- *Regains his composure* See what I mean? You love him. Such as I love Virgil.

P- Do you reeaaally, though?-

D- And we both don't have their affection, therefore we must get them to love us. 

P- I don't want to force Logan to fall for me, though. I want him to love who he chooses...even if it isn't me….

D- Who said anything about getting Logan to love you?

P- Um, you did? And you also said that we should get Virgil to love you. Why? 

D- Virgil was happy. He had big dreams. He even told me that he was going to talk some sense into the Dark King. Then, we separated and he lost that happiness and motivation. Meanwhile, Logan cares about Virgil, and seeing him so….. miserable is killing the advisor on the inside. Therefore, love shall make Virgil happy again and that in turn shall make Logan happy again. 

P- But, how-

D- Love potion.

P- Love potion? 

D- The love potion. It will make Virgil happy again.

P- But…. doesn't that mean that the love he feels won't be real?

D- No. The love potion will simply lead Virgil to his soulmate. The one person that can make him happy indefinitely. 

P-  Oh. But, how will we get it? I thought the love potion could only be made by the Sugar Plum Fairy and they're locked up in...

D- The Dark Side. And you must travel into it-

P- Woah, woah, woah! We don't even know if the Sugar Plum Fairy exists or the love potion for that matter. And why do I have to go to the Dark Side? Why don't you go with me? Or go yourself?

D- The king will be hosting another party and I must humble myself in front of him to ask to be reinvited. Therefore, I am required here. Meanwhile, I doubt anyone would expect you to attend-

P- I live in the village where the party is being held! 

D- Yes, but you are a normal villager who won't be missed as much as I would be. People would be less suspicious if you were gone for a while. If it were me, they would think I was up to something terrible, and we wouldn't want that... Plus, don't you want to be the one to make the prince happy again? If I were Logan, I would be impressed that you would go to such lengths for one of his dearest friends, and that might just be enough to get him to love you. By his choice, of course.

P- The Dark Side scares everyone, even Virgil, but, ... I want to make him and Logan proud. So,...I'll do it.

D- Perfect…
