I woke up and I was laying on Dal's lap. I really missed him, he was my big brother. It seems when he is around life gets better. I didn't want to wake Dal up and no one else was awake so I just went back to sleep.

*hours later*

I woke up and Dal was still asleep but I could hear the guys talking in the kitchen. I stood up carefully and walked towards the kitchen.

"Soda maybe this isn't the best idea," Darry said, I couldn't help but wonder what they were talking about?

"Darry I love her! I know things may not be perfect and things are gonna be rough, but we will work things out together."

"Okay little buddy, go for it, but if you break her heart I'll kill ya." Said Darry. I walked into the kitchen and sat on Soda's lap and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Hey baby, how'd you sleep?" Soda asked giving me his famous smile.

"Good, Dal is still asleep though," I said looking towards the living room.

Soda laughed, " that doesn't surprise me."

I got up and hugged Darry. Darry hugged back and smiled. I was the only one who hugged Dar because he doesn't like hugs too much. Dar was like an older brother to me, he's just as protective as Dal. Soda pulled me outside and hugged me. I smiled and hugged him back.

"How would you think about living with me Dani?"

"I wouldn't mind Soda, it seems like I'm pretty much living with you already." He laughed and nodded. We interlocked our fingers and walked back inside. Dal was still asleep so I ran over to the couch a jumped on him.

"Dally!! Dally!! Wake up!!" I yelled as I jumped on him. He finally woke up and got himself up. Dally went into the kitchen and grabbed some food. After a little bit, I went to ask Dally what his plans for the day were and instead he grabbed me and put me over his shoulder and walked outside. I was hitting his back but he wouldn't put me down.

"Dal where are we going?"

"You will see."

Dal kept walking, carrying me and after a while, we ended up at Buck's. He took me upstairs, set me on the bed and locked the door.

"Dal what's going on?" I asked nervously

"Baby girl Dad's in town. I didn't want to tell you around the guys because I figured if you wanted to you would tell Soda and them." Dally hugged me as I cried into his shoulder. I was so scared. Last time I saw my dad he was beating me and I never planned on seeing him again. I sniffled, "Dal what if he tries to hurt me again?"

"Oh, baby girl I promise he won't lay a hand on you and if he does I'll kill him." He hugged me tighter. "Come on let's go tell the gang."

Dally picked me up and carried me bridal style back to the Curtis's house. We walked in and he set me on the couch next to Soda. I was still crying so Soda wrapped his arms around me and held me close. I stopped crying after a while and looked up at Soda and smiled.

"Guys I gotta say something." All the guys looked my way with worried faces.

"My dads in town." I started to cry again. Dally explained the rest of the story since I was still crying. Soda pulled me in his arms and told me everything would be okay. All the boys were saying how he wouldn't touch me and they would protect me. Dal told the guys I wasn't allowed to go anywhere without the gang and they all agreed, I didn't mind it either.

I walked into Soda's room and laid in bed. I soon fell asleep.

*Soda's POV*

"Guys I think I'm gonna wait a day or two to ask for her hand. With her dad in town, it's too much for her." I said sadly

"Soda I think just cause our dad is in town doesn't give a good reason for your proposal to be pushed off, don't let him affect you guys," Dally said kindly. I could tell Dally really wanted this, maybe he knew I made her happy.

I walked upstairs and went into my room. I saw Dani laying on the bed asleep. Wow, she was so pretty and cute, I really do love her. I laid down next to her and wrapped my arms around her. She snuggles closer to my chest. I kissed her forehead and fell asleep thinking about tomorrow...

I'm gonna propose tomorrow
