*Dal's POV
I woke up and noticed the gang was all asleep so I decided I would go over to Buck's and hang out for awhile.

When I got over there I went up to my room to change out of my old clothes. when I got up there I saw a stack of letters laying on my bed so I sat down and started looking threw them. I had stopped looking and dropped everything when I hit one letter. I got up and walked out. No no no I can't be going, I can't go into war. I can't leave the gang behind and I can't leave Dani, I have to protect her! I ran to the Curtis's house and ran through the front door crying. I sat down on the couch and all the guys came running out from the kitchen, Dani walked down stairs. She ran over to me.

"Dal? Dal what's wrong? What's going on??" She was so worried. I don't know how I could tell her, I'll just break her little heart.

"Baby girl, guys, you should sit down." They all did as I said and looked at me concerned.

"Dal, what's going on?" Asked Soda, he was now holding Dani in his arms.

I breathed," I got a letter today... I'm being drafted."

Dani ran up to me and hugged me crying.

"No Dal!! No, you just can't go! Please, you have to stay!" She was crying so much. I kissed her forehead and wiped her tears away.

"It's okay baby girl, Soda and the gang will be here, they can protect you and make sure nothing bad happens while I am gone," I said trying to calm her down.

"When are you leaving Dal?" She asked

"Well, I'm leaving tomorrow.," I said trying to not cry myself. We all stood up, hugged, and cried. this was my family, I can't lose them. I have to come back, I will make it through this.
We spent the last hours we had together playing games and talking about old memories. Nobody cried unless it was from laughing so hard. We all fell asleep talking and just messing around.

*The next day*

I woke up earlier than everyone else and walked over to Bucks to pack up my stuff. When I was done I walked back to the guy's house and said my last goodbyes. Nobody cried, we didn't have any tears left after last night. I got in the car and drove to the train station and on the ride over I remember the last thing I saw at my old home was my family waving goodbye in my rear view mirror.

Goodbye Tulsa, Goodbye Dani, Goodbye my family.
