After over a week,several investigations had been done and Yemi was not found guilty.she was to be released but they had only one person left as a suspect and who they believe is the murderer, "Jerry ".
He confessed before detective Mickey who was about to place a naked wire on him, he said he stabbed Mrs Bob his elder sister to death just to take over the property his late father left for her, his father didn't leave a dime for him because he his irresponsible and disrespectful to him and his sister.
"Yes! I am irresponsible that doesn't give him the right to leave me with nothing, for Christ sake i am his only son and the man of the house "Jerry said as he was being taken to jail.
A day later.......
Detective Okafor was to release Yemi but found her lying unconscious 😵 on the floor, she was rushed to the hospital immediately and the doctor confirmed that she is mentally unstable.
"She keeps calling the name Mrs Bob And I also noticed she has sensational feelings, she made mention of seeing blood and anything related to that "said Doctor Maggie to Detective Okafor.
"Oh i remember when i was interrogating her, she told me that the tap in the kitchen sink is rushing out blood instead of water 💧 and that she also saw bloody finger prints and i didn't see any of those when i investigated that house"Detective Okafor said to Doctor Maggie.
"That's what am talking about sir, she will have to remain here for treatment to see by his grace if she will get better,or do you want to take an insane lady home? "Asked Doctor Maggie.
"No not at all, but what must have caused this to happen to the poor lady "asked Detective Okafor.
"Most times insanity is caused by stressful life situation such as financial problems, a loved one's death, or a divorce. An ongoing chronic medical condition, such as diabetes. brain damage as a result of a serious injury, such as violent blow on the head, and so on, her case should fall into any of what i just mentioned,i will move her to the psychiatric ward for proper treatment "replied Doctor Maggie.
"Okay Doctor but can i see her"added Detective Okafor.
Detective Okafor was ushered to the room where Yemi was kept, he sadly looked at her as he slowly walked in, she kept mute looking at one spot, he held her hand and she looked at him with a tear rolling down her cheek.
"I didn't kill Mrs Bob or did I? "she asked.
"No you didn't dear "answered Detective Okafor.
"I didn't kill Mrs Bob "she said again continuously and louder, crying badly, then she began to hit and throw things at Detective Okafor, he quickly ran out immediately dudging the things that is being thrown at him.
Two nurses ran into the room to know what was going on, so they quickly rushed her to the psychiatric ward before she ruins more things or injures someone.
Jerry was sentenced to death for murder.
A year and half later.....
Yemi regained herself and was discharged, she later got married to Detective Okafor who loved her dearly and they were both blessed with two kids...... The End.
"And i lived happily ever after "
Yemi said to herself closing her book for she is done writing a short story of a little bit of her life.
