Hawkins. The town where 'nothing ever happens'. What a load of bullshit, Natasha thought as she turned the TV off, shaking her head as she decided that had been enough news for the day. She'd only began watching it to figure out what the weather was going to be like, but instead of getting her answer, she only happened to hear news story after news story about what was going on with the lab.
The doorbell rang, and she turned around walking straight back to the door. Opening it she was surprised to see none other than Emily standing there, looking completely different than the time she'd first saw her in the woods a month ago. "How many times do I have to tell you that you don't have to ring the doorbell?" Natasha asked with a light smile, the other girl just shrugging as she walked in.
"I'm super nervous," Was what she replied with. "Are you sure they reacted fine? What are we going to do if they say I can't?"
"Chill out, Emily. It's going to be okay. I explained to them how you found me and that you lost your other family, and if they want me to continue living here then one of my requirements was letting you stay here, too." Natasha shut the door behind the other blonde. "Besides, Sharon was with me and she agreed too, and they hardly ever say no to her."
"Who was that?" The sound of Edward's voice was heard from up the stairs, and Natasha turned to see him and Jade walking downstairs hand in hand. "Oh, right." He spoke as he noticed the twin, remembering the meeting the family was about to have.
"Edward, Jade, this is Emily. Emily, this is my brother Edward and his girlfriend Jade," Natasha introduced, the girl with the accent finishing her walk down the stairs with a giant smile. She took Emily in for a hug, welcoming the girl.
"Hello! We're very excited to have you here," She spoke as they broke apart, Edward awkwardly walking up and standing next to the brunette.
"Is she here?" The sound of Cheryl Moore's voice was heard, and soon enough the older woman came out, her face showing nothing but excitement at the sight of the girl. "Ah, she is! Ellis, Sharon, downstairs!" She called, putting her hand on the railing as she glided down the stairs to the foyer, stopping directly in front of the nervous girl. "It's so glad to finally meet you!"
"Uh, same here," Emily awkwardly said, glancing at Natasha who watched the interaction. Sharon came running down the steps, hugging Emily tightly.
"I've missed you, Em!"
"Okay, everyone. Calm down," The stern voice of Ellis Moore echoed throughout the house, as he walked out of his bedroom, fixing his tie. "Today happens to be a very busy day for a lot of us, so we need to get this done and over with."
Natasha glanced over at her twin, seeing the tiny smile on her face fall as the man intimidated her. She made sure none of the others were paying attention, before her eyes lit up a bright blue, 'Don't be scared. He's just like that, even when he's happy.'
