Tartarus Prison.

A specialized jail meaning to hold the most dangerous villains and criminals that have committed unspeakable crimes against humanity. It holds such villains as All For One and Hero Killer: Stain. The high-security prison is located on a very remote island surrounded by high walls. The only way to get into the prison is by crossing the bridge, which is heavily guarded at all times.

The villains of the jail are on high surveillance and being constantly monitored. The vital functions are being watched constantly, reacting to the slightest of unusual behavior; especially the activation of a quirk. If they act up in any way, they will be electrocuted, not enough to be killed, but enough to wish it'd kill you.

No one escapes Tartarus.

"Role call procedure!"

A young guard peeked his head into the recreation room for the guards and staff and shouted the words most guards dreaded. Taking role call seemed pointless to them, no one escaped Tartarus. No one ever had since it's been built. Hardly anyone even tried, and if they did, they never got far. The role call was always the same.

One guard looked particularly dreary at this, an older female,  who knew that it was her turn. She groaned and reluctantly took the sheet of names. She started from alphabetical order. A, B, C, and so on. She stepped out into the long, dark hallway, lines with cells. She dragged herself along, muttering names, peering into rooms and cells and looking at the crazy delinquents who wound up there. Some prisoners wore white jackets. Some didn't. Some screamed and muttered nonsensical things that would only make sense to them. Strangely, the quieter ones creeped the old guard out the most. They were too quiet.

Getting through the A's, she moved on to B's. Moving on, C's. Now D's.

Everything was normal, every name on the list was checked off so far. Of course, what else was to be expected? Tartarus was a boring prison, relatively small, rarely got new arrivals, never let anyone out. Most villains new better by then to try and escape or use their quirks. Any who had tried had never tried again.

"Hm... Villain name; Deku... Real name; Izuku Midoriya," the guard muttered to herself. "Oh yeah, the newest of the bunch. Youngest around here, too. He's been here a month, and he's never moved from his dark corner."

The guard shook her head, she needed to stop rambling and get on with it. She'd never finish at that rate. She looked into the cell and scanned it slowly, looking for a sign of life. She couldn't find any. This wasn't that strange, like the elder said, he never moved from his dark corner. She took a deep breath and decided to look further. The cell was dark and it was hard to see. She told herself that the prisoner was wearing a white jacket, so he couldn't move his arms or legs, and any sort of movement that was out of the ordinary would be terminated once he was shocked. He couldn't hurt her, or anyone for that matter.

She took her keys with slightly shaky hands and opened the lock. She opened the door. It creaked loudly, making her flinch. She took slow, cautious steps, looking around. Her eyes adjusted to the darkness.

"Deku... Deku?" she called. "Deku, role call."

She got no answer as she continued forward. The guard stepped on something small, like a pebble of some sort. She stumbled forward slightly and nearly losing her balance. Once she secured her gravity, she bent over cautiously and picked up what she had stepped on. She squinted to see what it was and when she did, she gaped at it.

"A... tooth?" She said incredibly. It was a tooth. A bloody tooth.

She heard a noise from ahead of her. In the darkest corner of the cell. She took another deep breath and approached the dark corner. It was empty. The only thing there was another tooth. Another bloody tooth. The guard bent to pick this one up as well, and as she did, she suddenly felt a searing pain in the back of her neck that quickly spread to the rest of her body before engulfing her eyes in eternal emptiness. Within moments, she fell on the floor. Dead.

Laughing could be heard, echoing throughout the hallway. Faint, giggling. It seemed to come from nowhere and everywhere at the same time. The villains in the cell heard it, the guards in the recreation room could hear it, the workers in the camera room could hear it, as well. The cameras that were normally filled with unmoving images, and the workers would often fall asleep from boredom. But now was not the case. Something could be seen on the cameras. Glimpses of white and green. Some of them could see something of a face before they went static. One by one, the cameras turned off. Went static. Died out.

Red alarms started going off throughout Tartarus prison- there had been a break. For the first time ever, there had been a prison break. The newest prisoner, one Izuku Midoriya, had escaped. Five minutes later, so had All For One. Five more minutes later, after a thorough search of the entire prions, everyone was sure they were gone. But yet another five minutes, a young guard, who was checking to make sure everyone else was in their cells, alone, swore he heard laughing. Giggling. Coming from all around him. Coming from above him, underneath him, behind him, in front of him, to all sides of him. The young guard had been terrified as he barged into the recreation room, telling everyone what had happened. Not many believe him, but there had been yet another thorough, though reluctant, search. Nothing.

He was gone.

A/N- By the way, this isn't a segway to a book 2 or whatever, this is it. The end. Sorry if I got you excited or anything :>

Also, I feel like a lot of Villain!Deku Au's he either still has One For All, or he discovers he has some other quirk, but I like the idea of him being quirkless still a lot more. I've always loved the idea of the "underdogs" becoming better than those with the advantages. So yee :D

Editing Aaron here (June 17th 2020): I feel like a lot of people have been commenting that they want a book 2, and while I'm not going to make one, I do have a different villain deku out that y'all can check out if you want to! It's a TodoDeku based in the future, when they're both adults. (Edit: I originally put that there was five chapters out and my updating schedule was twice a month and obviously both are no longer true, there's around 15 chapters out, I can't remember to be honest, and it's on hiatus right now.)

Okay bye-
