Third person PIV:
After what felt like forever she finally got up and cleaned up after herself. How could Jughead do that to her? What if he found someone else at his new school? She looked in the mirror and noticed that her face was puffy and red. Why did he have to break up with her all of a sudden? A few weeks ago he was helping her cope with her father's death. She had no one now. She brushed those thoughts out of her head and cried and cried until she fell into a deep sleep, dreading for the next day.
Jughead sprinted to the sheriff's station, finding Fp looking at a newspaper. Fp noticed his son's state and rushed over to him.
"Boy what's wrong? Why are you crying" he asked, confusion laced in his voice.
"I broke up with Betty dad" Jughead whimpered, tears streaming down his face.
Fp was confused. Why would Jughead leave Betty when they were in a good place. Betty needed him right now with her family and he just left? Fp looked at Jughead and noticed his face up close.
There were streaks of tears all over his face and his eyes showed a dull blue. Not like the ocean blue you'd see when Jughead has a burger.
Jughead left to one of the office rooms and slammed the door. You could hear him sobbing and pushing things over. This broke Fp's heart to see how broken he his. Fp then left to go check on Betty.
As he arrived to the ex cooper house and heard crying. Betty. He opened the door and rushed upstairs to see Betty packing up her clothes.
"Betty what are you doing?" He asked.
"I'm gonna stay over a friends house since Jughead broke up with me. I don't want it to be awkward between everyone so I'm going to leave. And also tell Jugg-Jughead that his clothes he left for me are in my closet" she sobbed as she zipped up her suitcase.
Fp grabbed her hands and hugged her. Betty tried to fight back but soon hugged back sobbing her eyes out. A tear left his cheek as her breathing started to get heavy. He hated see her in pain. She was a like another daughter to him. He could feel his shirt soak up as he hugged tighter.
"Why doesn't he love me anymore?" she asked pulling away from the hug. Fp stared at her and stayed silent.
"I don't know Betty, but he came to to the office today and he isn't taking it well" he confessed.
"Well I'm going to my grandparents. Please tell Jughead I'm sorry" she mumbled. Fp was shocked. She was blaming herself when it was Jughead that broke up with her in the first place.
"Of course Betty, but please don't think this is your fault" Fp reassured. Betty smiled and left.
Fp looked in her closet finding Jughead's clothes and a scrap book. Puzzled, Fp opened up the book to reveal pictures of Betty and Jughead as kids and teens. It says happy 3 year anniversary so it was going to be a gift to Jughead. Fp turned to to the last and notice a stick. He pulled it revealing the words...........
