Third person POV:
It's been 5 years. 5 years since Betty last saw her children. 5 years since Jughead took away her loved children.
But there she sat, in the diner depressed. She knows it's bad and she had to get help, but it was too hard. She had no will to live. She had no best friend to cry with and no love to spend the rest of her life with. She just wanted all of this to end. She wanted Jughead back, but sadly that couldn't happen. He found new love, not Veronica, but this women named Toni. He did try to get it with Veronica, but she refused only wanting to make amends with her so called best friend. She walked out of the diner and started to walk home. But then all of a sudden, she say black.
Jughead had everything he could ever wish for. He had a beautiful girlfriend and children, but as Juliet gotten older, she started to look more like Betty. Oh how he wish he didn't cheat on her. Juliet still hated him, always ignoring him and disobeying him. The more he look at Juliet, the more she grew, all he could see was a childhood Betty.
Flashback:
Betty and Jughead were playing in in the sandbox, competing to see who could build the best sandcastle. They were almost done, but their other friend Archie crashed into Betty's while trying to catch a football.
"No my castle!" Betty cried as she crossed her arms and looked down with her eyes closed. Just like how she cried when Jughead cheated on her.
Betty sobbed and cried as Jughead stood there in horror. Just like how he saw her face when she saw her best friend and boyfriend together.
"It's okay Betts you can help me build our castle. Yours was better then mine anyways" he reasoned, making Betty smile. He always knew how to make her smile.
Flashback over
Jughead was broken out of his thoughts when Toni walking in the room.
"Hey babe" she said as she gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Hey baby" he mumbled. He met Toni 3 months ago on his way to the white wyrm. She was always so kind and loyal. She was a nice girl, but she could sometimes be bitchy. She was always rude to his friends and other girls he talked with.
"I was thinking about us" she said touching his chest. "What about we take another step into this relationship, don't ya think Juggie?".
Jughead cringed at the nickname. He only liked it when Betty called him Juggie. The way it rolled off her lips. When Toni said it he wanted to gag.
"Please don't ever call me that Toni. You know I hate that nickname" he said through gritted teeth. He doesn't even know why he's dating her. She is a bitch, only caring about herself. Then he said something that he regretted.
"No what toni? We're over. It's not you, it's me. So pack up and get out of my house" he said. Toni backed away and and slapped him. Hard.
"Wow you're really breaking up with me cause you can't get over your bitchy ex wife? No wonder she wanted to get a divorce" she yelled.
Tears stung his eyes. If only he didn't cheat with Veronica. He wants Betty back. But she'll probably be with someone who loves her, and won't cheat on her. Oh how he missed those moments with them together.
Flashback
"Juggie wake up its your birthday" she yelled, while jumping on their bed. She giggled looking at him smirking at her.
"Five more minutes" he whined pulling Betty onto him as he snuggled into her neck.
"Juggie please I made you your favorite bacon and eggs" she pleaded, looking into his eyes. How could Jughead say no to to the face.
"Only for you Betts" he smiled as they walked into the kitchen hand in hand.
"I love you Betts" he said looking into her eyes.
"I love you too Jugg-"
Flashback over
Jughead was then suddenly interrupted by his phone ringing. What happened next made his heart stop.
"Hi Jughead remember me? It's me Penny. I have your Betts here and wow what did you do to her. You sure messed up her badly. You better come back to Riverdale and sort this out king, or Betty here will feel the pain you made the ghoulies go through. (Jughead was serpent king until he moved). Bye bye Juggy". Before he could talk she hung up.
Penny sent a picture of Betty, bruised and beaten which made his blood boil. She didn't deserve this. He had to get her out of there. There was a voice recording that was sent and made a tear roll down Jughead's cheek.
"I love you Juggy please come help me"
