Third person POV :
Jughead raced down the road, sweat dripping off of his face. He'd never thought he'd see Betty again. Last time he saw her he was in a courtroom laughing while she had tears streaming down her face. Was she prettier? Does she have a boyfriend that treats her better than him?
He brushed these thoughts out of his head and arrived to to the location. It was an old warehouse that had been abandoned for years. It was the first warehouse he delivered drugs to.
He slowly opened the door coming face to face with a ghoulie. He punched him in the throat making the ghoulie collapse. Jughead started to walk through and hear a high pitched scream followed by someone sobbing. He stopped dead in his tracks. Betty. He sprinted toward the sound came from. There he saw them.
Betty was tied to a chair beaten and gagged. She had rope around her stomach and legs, suffocating her. Jughead's blood start to boil. He did this to her. If only he didn't cheat on her. Next to Betty was Penny. Penny was cutting her legs, blood pouring out her leg. Slice. Slice. Slice. Tears ran down Jughead's face. He still loved her.
"Let go of her" Jughead yelled. He hated to see her in pain.
Flashback
Betty was on her period. She always hated her cramps. But this week was worse. She sat in her bed and sobbed at the pain. She wanted all of it to stop.
"Baby what's wrong" Jughead asked. Tears welling up in his eyes. Betty started to laugh.
"Why are you crying? I'm the one in pain" she giggled, Jughead soon laughing with her.
"Sorry hon. I just hate seeing you in pain"
Flashback over
Jughead was soon tied to a chair, with duck tape over his mouth. Betty was closer to him now, having him see a clearer view of her. There were cuts on her head followed by a large cut in her arm. She looked dead.
Betty looked up, meeting Jughead's gaze. They both started to cry even more. Penny came out with two other ghoulies behind her. She took out a knife and walked over to Betty.
"Here is Jughead's little punishment, since he betrayed us all those years ago" she said slicing Betty's skin. Betty began to scream and kick. Jughead tried to get out of the rope, fumbling with the knot but it was too hard. Betty started to sob, begging her to stop. Jughead started shaking, tears blurring his vision. He couldn't handle this anymore. He kicked the ghoulie behind him and fell back, breaking the chair. He got out and pulled off the duct tape over his mouth.
Jughead kicked the other ghoulie, knocking him out. He pulled Penny's hair, having her hit her head leaving her unconscious. He came to Betty and untied her. She collapsed the pain finally coming onto her. Jughead carried her and raced to the entrance. He didnt care about the ghoulies chasing after them he only cared about Betty.
Since Riverdale wasn't very far from the warehouse, he decided to leave his beloved bike and run instead. His feet started to ache and sweat dripped down his face. He looked down at the angel below him. She was awake and smiling.
"I'll get you out of here love" he whispered into her ear. He still loved her. There was no denying it. How could he not? She was perfect.
"I love you" Betty whispered. Jughead smiled at her and kissed her forehead.
They finally reached the hospital and Betty was carried away from him into the ER. He called the police and explain what had happened with the ghoulies. After that he just sat there and cried. Cried for Betty. Cried for Veronica for ruining her relationship with Betty. Cried for everyone he hurt.
A few hours later
"Family of Betty Cooper?" A nurse asked scanning around the room. Jughead sprinted to her.
"Is she okay?" He asked tears spilling down her face.
"She us going to make a full recovery from her injuries. Fortunately there weren't any life threatening injuries except a gash on her left arm that need 20 stitches on it. Other than that she is in room 201 and is ready to have visiters" the nurse said.
Jughead ran to the room and saw Betty watching a cooking show. He ran up to her and hugged her and cried. Betty kissed his forehead and rubbed his back. He looked at her and she was also crying. They sat there together and cried together. They loved eachother and they both knew it.
A few years later
"Honey I'm home!" Jughead yelled into the home. Betty hopped out and hugged him.
"How was work today honey?" Betty asked rubbing his shoulders.
"It was okay, but I'm happier with you now" he cooed.
All of a sudden they heard crying from the other room.
"Jules can you help your brother with his blocks?" Betty asked.
"Sure thing mom. And also can I hang our with Sarah this Sunday at the drive in?"
"Of course honey" Betty replied cuddling into Jughead's side. They gazed into each others eyes, then shared a passionate kiss.
Everything was finally perfect.
I've been on writers block for such a long time and I'm so sorry for it! I've tried looking at other as and found nothing so I researched other books to try and help. And this is the end to this mini au story. K thx bye💕💕
