There was an electrical spark between the two ex lovers that could have empowered Miami for a millenium. He stared into her dangerous grey eyes as she looked up into his beautiful sea green ones. His eyes traveled down her body, jealous rippling across his face, but hiding it under his careful mask.

"Sorry Percy, how are you?" She spoke first, looking right at Percy. He opened his mouth but didn't speak. She was gorgouse. He was speachless.

"G-Good, you?" He mentally slapped himself for stuttering. He was an actor for gods sake.

"Good I guess, I visited Thalia last night, the doctors say she starting to breah on her own now." Annabeth breathed a sigh of releif as she said those words. She hadn't blurt out anything brash or idiotic.

"Thats great." He whispered and he clenched his fists behind his back. He just wanted to embrace her, smell that lemony scent again and wake up next to her. He wanted her.

But he kept his growing desire down. She would drown him and he preferred to be alive thank you very much.

She shuffled out of the way, to go and get another drink, involuntry, his eyes traced her off shoulder blouse and ripped skinny jeans, every curve was showing. No doubt she was the prettiest girl at this party. You couldn't keep your eyes off her.

Percy disspeared into the crowd, hoping to forget she was here, or even alive if that would help his hunger and desire. But no, her face and scent was a permanat tattoo in his mind. It was burnt into the flesh of his skin, every cell would remember her, no matter what would happen.

She looked after him, watching him fade into the crowd as it grew bigger and bigger. She sipped her beer regretfully, sad and anxious to reach out to him, feel his warmth again. She restrained himself. He looked good in his black tank top and jeans, his tattered Nike's and tousled raven black hair.

She wanted to kiss him so badly. She misssed his jokes and warmth, how he smelled like sea scent and his gentle soft lips. How he would do anything for her, how humble and down to earth he was.

How kind he could be.

But she would rather drown herself than let her heart take over again. And she wanted to be alive thank you very much.

So she started to head towards the calm ocean waves. She distanced herself from the rapidly growing party. Sitting on the sand with her legs in front of her she watched the sun be replaced the full plump round moon. It hung over the sky, stars peeking from the dark velvet curtains.

Thoughts seemed to hit her at light speed. Tomorrow she would be on her way home, see Malcom, her brothers, friends and father. After tomorrow Zeus would come to her apartment and do whatever he did to inform her of her duties.

Tomorrow would be different.

This was her last real day as a normal person. So why shouldn't she live it as a wild party animal? Do the things she'll never do again the same?

Footsteps padded in the sand softly behind her. She knew who it was before they would sit down next to her.

"And you thought I could use company, Percy?" She asked as he sat criss cross next to her. Annabeth forced herself not to look at him, keep her eyes on the ocean.
