Things had been crazy, to say the least, The Studio was going nuts with work and it was keeping Sean very busy. He was kind of thankful for it, the obvious reason being the money growth and the not-at-all obvious reason being the fact that he was gaining some time away from Kaycee and Jia while having the perfect excuse — it has been more than two weeks since his conversation with Gabe and this busy-time gave him some space to think about how he was going to approach all of this.

To be honest, he could only think of one solution... the end was coming and he was procrastinating so he wouldn't have to face it but thing is, no one can procrastinate forever and his due date was knocking on his door — literally.

He was sitting behind his desk, dealing — badly 'cause math has never been his best — with some countability when someone knocked on the door.

"Busy." Screamed but the knock persisted. "Fine, come in."

"Surprise!" Said Kaycee as she walked inside his office.

"Kayc..." He looked very surprised indeed. "What you are doing here?"

"Well, Jia is at daycare and I feel like we haven't really been together for a while now so I decided..." She said while placing a bag on the floor e locking the door behind her. "To surprise you."

"Babe, I'm very..."

"Very busy these days... I know, I know." She said what he was about to as if she had heard it many times before — and it was all she had been hearing in the past weeks as Sean tried to keep his distance. "But I figured that just a few minutes..."

She walked to him, turning his chair towards her before sitting on his lap — face front. "...just a few minutes wouldn't be bad."

"Kayc..." He tried as she started to kiss his neck, hands messing with the hair in it.

"I miss you..." She whispered in his ear and his hands went straight to her waist, grabbing strongly because... well, he missed her too.

She smiled as she felt him easing in. "And I guess you miss me too."

"I do, babe, but..." He took a deep breath to talk but Kaycee kissed him and in a second he was far gone.

Her hands tugging his hair, sending shivers down his neck. Losing his control — more — he grabbed her waist with one arm and stood up, making her sit on his table without, not even for once, thinking about his work that could be ruined.

Her legs tangling him to her and his hands traveling her back underneath her shirt. The kiss was messy and hot, and suddenly the room started to feel tinier and tinier, as if it was shrinking and compressing them on each other — her shirt was already on the ground and his shirt was about to be too when Sean stopped abruptly.

"Wait..." He said, putting some distance between them.

"What?" She asked, confused.

"I really need to get back to work, Kayc." He said without looking at her, running his fingers in his hair then over his mouth.

"Sean..." She started to walk to him. "Just a few minutes won't..."

"No, Kaycee." He said coldly, making Kaycee stop right away.

He looked at her and he could see the hurt in her eyes, along with a confused frown — he sighed, hand on his waist. "Kayc..."

"No, it's alright." She said coldly too, turning away from him — nervously looking for her shirt.

He couldn't see her face but he was sure she was trying to fight a tear or two — he grabbed her shirt from the ground and extend towards her. She grabbed without looking at him. "Babe..."
