I woke up with heavy eyelids. My body strained when I sat up from my laying down position. I took in my surrounding and saw that I was in a cabin deep in the woods. Everything in here was carved by wood even the lamps and furniture.

I slowly sat up into a sitting position which I immediately regretted. My head started spinning and I got a terrible headache. I clasped my head in my hands trying to shut out the pain. I finally got it under control and this time I moved slower until I was standing up. I slowly walked towards the window on the right side of the room and looked out to see many pine trees clustered together everywhere. There were no signs or anything that would help me figure out where I was. I saw a hallway on the left of me; slowly turning away from the window I started to shuffle my way down the hall.

The hallway was decorated with pictures that looked like they were painted during the civil war times. I stopped when one particular painting caught my attention. It was a canvas of a very beautiful and elegant looking woman. She had blond hair laid down in perfect waves down to her elbow. She had an emerald green dress on that highlighted her green eyes and was sitting on a thrown with a giant crystal crown on her head.

"Beautiful isn't she?"

I jumped when u heard a deep voice in my ear and quickly looked to the way that voice came from.

There was a man standing in front of me. He had brown eyes with brown hair and looked like he was completely covered in muscle. He also had a pretty cool black cowboy hat on his head.

"Yah", I mumbled.

"Her name was Milada. She was queen for many years, but never let anyone call her queen, she was always Milada."

I couldn't help myself, this man when he said her name seemed to have so much love for this girl in his eyes.

"Did you know this girl Mr.-"

"Please call me Gray."

"Okay did you know this girl Gray?"

He smiled sweetly at me and nodded his head.

"She was my wife."

My eyes widened probably making me look like some bobble head.

He laughed at expense and smiled, "Yes I know that means I am incredibly old. I am one of the oldest werewolves that are out there."

"Where did you meet her?"

"I will tell you my love story some other time sweetheart but not right now."

I nodded my head to him and finally realized I didn't know where the hell I was.

"Uh Gray where the hell am I?"

"You are in Colorado."

"Yes that's nice but like where are WE?"

"In Eldorado Springs."

"Okay and how did I get here? where are my friends? Are you gonna rape me it something?"

I heard a deep laugh from down the hall so of course I turned around to figure out who it was.

In front of me I saw Colten dressed in a fitted black T-shirt and jeans. Seeing him I looked down at myself and thankfully looked pretty okay. I was still wearing the dress from the dance but I would bet my life that my makeup was all smeared making me look like some rabid coon. UGH! I sooo didn't want ANYONE to see me like this except for Vanessa. Which reminds me I still didn't get an answer and I don't see any other girls here. Time to bring on my smartass.

"So am I going to have to worry about both of you raping me? Cause I didn't get an answer."

Colten laughed but didn't answer me, still.

"No we are not going to do that and your friend is in the kitchen flirting with macho man", said Colten.

I smiled at that. I loved that she was finally doing something about this stupid crush. Who knows maybe they will finally become boyfriend and girlfriend.

I walked past Colten and followed my nose. I could smell pancakes and bacon coming from the right and when I followed the trail I found myself in the kitchen.

Just like the room I woke up in everything was made if wood. not of course the oven, sink, dishwasher, microwave, and silverware but other than that everything looked handmade.

I looked at Vanessa and she had a plate ready and waiting for me on the counter.

I sat down and practically inhaled my food. Vanessa smiled at me but held her hand out in a stopping motion. I knew I would probably throw up if I ate more so fast but I was starving! I took another pancake and slowly ate this time hoping I wouldn't get a stomachache.

With a mouth full of bacon I asked, "How long was I out?"

I heard Gray's gruff voice say, "You've been out for almost three whole days."

I scrunched up my face concentrating. the last thing I are was the school lunch the night of the dance. That was almost 72 bourse ago! I started licking my fingers trying to get all of the sticky goodness of the maple syrup off my hands.

"Gray not to be rude but who are you?"
