Keegan in Steve's Kingdom "The Nexus"

King Steve took great care in trying to set up this meeting.

Those in attendance were the kingdom’s best elf archer, Holly Diggs; her sister Kailey Diggs, one of the helpers in the nexus’ development; the furries’ chief peace negotiator, Elliot Clark; the kingdom’s best dwarf swordsman, Jerald Trump; and two furry sisters, Codie and Shella.

“May this meeting come to order,” King Steve said.

“Alright. But there is something I must say first,” Codie began.

“And you may say it,” King Steve said.

“Why weren’t we told the truth?!” Codie asked, raising her voice in anger.

“Hey! A little more respect for the King!” I snapped.

“Codie,” I heard Shella whisper to her sister.

“Break it up you two,” Holly intervened.

“Yeah,” Kailey said.

“We are all upset. But we could not say this in front of everyone, otherwise we would’ve had a panic on our hands,” explained King Steve.

Codie slowly nodded, but she still looked a bit angry.

“If I may have a few words?” asked Elliot.

“Yes, go ahead,” King Steve said.

“Why don’t we try making peace with Herobrine and his mobs?” Elliot asked.

“There’s no reasoning with those monsters!” Jerald spat.

“Jerald does have a point. They’ve attacked us at every encounter,” Holly admitted.

“I say we just go in and bust’em. Any objections?” Jerald asked.

“Well I’m not going to fight, but I do know my way around the overworld,” Elliot explained.

 “Yes, very good. But our first stop is the nether, so we can get blaze rods to make into blaze powder,” King Steve explained.

“What about ender pearls?” Kailey asked.

“Some of my guards have already accumulated quite the collection,” King Steve said.

“Oh,” Kailey said.

Since you do know all about the layout of the over world I assume you know your way to the nearest nether portal?” Steve asked.

 “Quite right. I’ll lead the way on all of our adventures.” Elliot said. “Except for the nether!” Jerald joked.

“Oh be quiet!” Shella barked.

 “Anyway, there will be a short break to prepare.  When everyone is ready, meet me at the kingdom walls. And as far as the whole kingdom is concerned, this meeting never took place,” King Steve said. “Dismissed,” he said. Then we got up from our chairs and left the room.

 I was on my way home to prepare, when I noticed my stomach was making noises. “I’m Hungry,” I thought. So, I sped home and ate my slabs of steak as fast as I could without choking on them. Then I raced up my stairs and opened my weapon chest. I had an old diamond sword and some iron armor. “This should suffice.” I thought to myself. So I grabbed my gear and went out.

When I got to the kingdom gates, I was one of the first ones here, other than King Steve and Elliot. “I’m here!” I said. “Excellent!” King Steve said. I saw that King Steve had a full set of diamond armor and a sword made of …. “What is that sword made of?” I asked. “Oh, this? This is an infused sword, a weapon I made out of rift flux,” King Steve explained. “Cool!” I said.

However, when I glanced over at Elliot, he only had a chain chest plate and no weapons.

“You aren’t even going to bring a sword for your own protection?” I asked Elliot.

“Nope. I’d rather try to make peace with the mobs. But, if they aren’t going to listen, I’d rather run away from my attacker then kill it,” Elliot explained. “Whatever you say,” I said, confused.

Just then, Holly and Kailey appeared. Holly was wearing enchanted chain armor as well as an enchanted bow. Kailey had an enchanted iron chest plate and an iron sword.

Then Codie and Shella came.  They were both in chain armor and iron swords.

“Now we are just waiting for Jerald,” Kailey said.

Just then, Jerald appeared, carrying a diamond spear and diamond armor.

“Let’s do this!” Jerald said.

“Right. Elliot lead the way!” King Steve said.

And we all set off.
