Chapter 3: The Park (Part 2 of Sleepover)

"You are the only person I love."

Up in the morning, at around 8:41 AM, Leo had just woken up from his sleep. It felt like he had slept for over a year. Sounds of loud snoring from Puff could be heard next to him. X had meanwhile, fallen onto the ground sleeping straightly. Turns out, everyone had fallen asleep the night before. What about Jessica? She was already awake and dressed. As Leo got up and went to the kitchen to get something to eat, the blonde noticed that the table was.. clean? Maybe Jessica had cleaned it the night before? Or maybe in the morning after she had waken up.

"Good Morning, Leo." As the blonde turned around, Jessica in her normal formal clothes stood there, smiling. Leo turned back not trying to get disgusted, nor trying to get himself red. "Good morning, Jessica.." Jessica smiled and asked if he would like something to eat. Turns out that the fridge had been used by Jessica this morning to make breakfast. "I made everyone breakfast too, but I'm afraid it might be cold." Jessica said, worried. "It's okay, I won't be eating much anyways." As Leo sat down at the table, and chose his meal.

"Ah! No! You should eat it all. Not trying to say my cooking is the best, but.. you eat a lot at night, and less in the morning! It's really not healthy." Said Jessica as she grabbed him a spoon and a fork. "I don't really care too much bout my health. I'm fine." Leo said eating a small piece of toast with butter Jessica had made him. "Hmph! Maybe I can make you something light to eat. Maybe cereal?" "No." "Oatmeal?" "No." "An Omelette?" "Nah." "Then what do you want?" Asked Jessica. "Look kid, I don't know why you care bout my health but, just. Stop." Leo said as he swallowed a piece of toast.

"I," Jessica muttered, "Hmm.. fine. But promise me you're gonna be okay. It's just that your Puff's elder brother and, Puff means a lot to me. The same with you and X." Said Jessica as she walked out of the room to wake Puff and X up. Hmm, you've got a very strange friend, sis. Thought Leo. The blonde then proceeded to go outside the kitchen. Wait, why do I suddenly feel hungry again? Maybe I ate less last night. I'll just finish it this once. He then proceeded to do Jessica's orders as Puff walked inside the room. "Oh? Your awake?" As Puff said that, she let out a small yawn and stretched her arms.

"Shut up. Your really noisy." Leo said. "Hah! Says the one who always made me cry at night because of your loud voice!" Puff said. And the day of course, starts with the two arguing. Honestly they never get along. Even at first sight, one another might just cry or scream just by looking at each other. "Guys can you just stop arguing for a day? I bet Jessica is sick and tired of hearing your screams and argues all day long. And besides, it's the morning. You guys argue 24/7." Said X sounding annoyed. "Oh no! I'm sorry Jess." Puff replying with a sad tone. "Hey c'mon! Apologise to Jessica!" Puff also said nudging Leo's left arm. "Psh! Fine, I'm sorry." He was suddenly smiling a little. And then it turned to a frown. "Wah! You wouldn't even smile for me!" Puff said in a sarcastic tone, clearly begging for attention.

"Well then, everyone. Just start digging up. We've got some activities to do!" Said Puff shouting at everyone. "Sorry? Where are we going?" Jessica asked. "Yeah, where ARE we going sis?" Leo asked. X and Puff clearly had planned it, and they did. "We're going to the park for a walk. After that we're gonna take a quick stroll to the river near a mountain, so." X said. She sounded very dead inside. But this all seemed very exiting to Jessica.

"Wait! Swimming? Ah no! I forgot to bring a swimsuit." Jessica said sadly. "Think sis' got you covered. She probably has an extra swimsuit." Leo said "True. Dunno if it'll fit you though. We'll see." Puff said as she went inside her dirty room and into her dusty closet to search for it. Meanwhile, Leo seemed to be smiling a lot lately. He was smirking, grinning, and even giggling sometimes. Did I do something to make him be this strange? Was it wrong? Was is embarrassing? As Jessica thought, a small tap was on her shoulder. "Oh guess what, here it is!" Puff said. She held out a swimsuit that looked really old. It was black and white, and had stripes as a pattern on it. There was a zipper on the back, and the size was an M. "I don't wear it anymore because it was too big for me. I normally prefer an S." Puff said. "It's not perfect but it's the only one I have." "I'll use it." Jessica said.

A few moments later after that, everyone was going on the trip. The trip was actually real fun. Just a stroll in the park, a nice swim in the river near a mountain. Puff was very excited for the activities they were all going to do, and so was Jessica. X and Leo had a plain expression. Maybe they're not really a travelling type of person. After a short walk to the park, Puff then reached into her handbag and pulled her phone out. "Hey, let's all take a group photo!" Puff said smiling. "Oh! Sure!" Jessica replied. "Sure, I guess?" Leo then replied after Jessica. X just shrugged and agreed. The photo looked nice. Puff wasn't a really good photographer, she just managed to get lucky.

The park seemed really busy. It was filled with people and dogs, over the North, South, West, And East of the park. "Oh my goodness! Leo! Look! There are so many dogs!" Jessica said nudging Leo's left hand. "Your too close. Get off." Leo said sounding annoyed which, scared Jessica. "I think I need to go to the bathroom." X said. "I'll accompany you, if you don't mind." Puff then replied happily. It was then that Jessica and Leo were alone.
