Chapter 4: Alone Time (Continuation of Part 3)

A/N: I'm gonna try writing this using Jessica/Leo's POV in this Chapter, wish me luck- Oh! And since I've been making 3 parts of this chapter, (2-4) I think I'm going to end it here. Sorry if the ending was disappointing to some of y'all! q^q And I was kinda making this chapter in a quick because of some school issues- I deeply beg for your apologies!

"I just can't afford losing you. You mean everything to me."

Jessica's POV
It's been a few while now. I was standing in silence in front of Leo. This is getting awfully awkward. Leo pulls out his phone, and starts using it for a while. I looked over to him, and saw him watching something. Anime? Oh, right. Puff told me he was a Japan-culture maniac. I smiled as I imagined that. Leo looked to my side. We traded many glares, then he said "What's up with you? And what's with the creepy smiling?" Was it just me, or when he said that, I saw that his expression was flustered. How adorable! Puff has an extremely adorable brother! I just can't.

It's been another few while now. Puff and X finally came back. "Took you both long enough. Did you take a dump? I bet it was real big." He then smirked. "As if! At least X took her time. Don't listen to him." Puff then said patting X's shoulder. I swear, they are such a cute family! I grinned. "Well, anyways let's go. We're wasting a lot of time." X said nudging Puff's elbow. "Ah right! Hey, let's go there!" Puff said as she pointed to a fountain that looks really big. My gosh! I've never seen something as big as that! I had an astonished face, and Leo seemed to notice. "Hey, this is pretty common to where we live. Oh wait, or have you been living under a rock this whole time?" Leo then said, giggling. "Oh come on, Bro! At least show some respect!" Puff said, annoyed. "Sheesh, sorry?"

We then walked over to the amazingly fountain that I seem to find very interesting. This fountain looked as the size of my house for a second! Okay, maybe not that big, but it looks so nice. "You look so pitiful, kid. I just can't afford laughing at you." Leo said, teasing me." Argh! Not again! "Oh for the love of God, Bro." Puff again replied. "Honestly Leo, how do you plan on having a girlfriend when your attitude is like this?" X asked. "Oi, Oi, Calm down, emo-freak. Look. I ain't got time for women. Especially when it's Jessica. I mean, you expect what from me to her? Me to change? Ah nah." Leo said, surprisingly sounding calm. My heart sounded like it was about to break. I just shrugged it off. Come on now! I've dealt with bullies, and I can do the same to Leo! He's nothing different..

Leo's POV
"Oi, Oi, Calm down, emo-freak. Look. I ain't got time for women. Especially when it's Jessica. I mean, you expect what from me to her? Me to change? Ah nah." I spat, at X and Puff. Looking over to Jessica's face, she looked sad. Oh dear God, is she this weak? Words are just stupid nonsense. I'm just saying real things. "Hey, it was a joke. I didn't mean it, kid." I said, patting Jessica's shoulder. Wait. Why did I say that? It was supposed to be true. Jessica is nothing. Women are just not my thing. Love was never my thing. I don't even know why I even have a sister. Oh look, the devil seemed to brighten up. Hm, there goes my guilt.

As we were just taking a stroll in the park, we literally did nothing interesting. This trip was garbage. I really wish I didn't come now. Most of the trip was just me pulling out my phone. If I'm not mistaken, three hours already passed. Strange. It felt like eternity. Oh whatever, I just want this trip to end. "Well, let's go take the swim now!" My sister said. Jessica seemed to brighten a lot hearing that. Okay, she's too bright it hurts my eyes. As we were walking to the waterfall, I nudged Jessica's left arm. She hummed in response, and I said "Look, kid. I'm uh, sorry about before I guess. But don't get the wrong idea, your still annoying and pitiful anyway." Jessica continued to trace Puff and X's footsteps as she also stared at me."

"It's okay! I knew you were joking anyway."

She's too bright. God. Is that why Puff keeps mistaking things for me and her relationship? Is she supposed to be the one who's going to "Light my world up"? Hell nah, that sounded cringe. Or maybe it's true? Oh for the love of God, stop! These stupid thoughts just filled my head, and it wouldn't get out. There's nothing special about Jessica, so why am I thinking so much about her?! Get out of my head! She's just a bookworm! An A+ student! The smart trash! As these thoughts filled my mind, I hadn't notice that we actually arrived at our destination. Jessica turned to look at me, then said:

"Are you okay, Leo?"

Ouch.
It felt like my heart skipped a beat. It hurts. I'm a blushing maniac. I was hiding my face, embarrassed. Stop acting all cute, god damn! "Aww~ Is he finally starting to like Jessica back?" Puff teased. "Shut up! This is your fault! Why do I even feel these emotions when I'm with her!?" I screamed. I can't stop. I'm still having a flustered face. My cheeks and my nose were red. It hurts. Until then, I felt dizzy. I then closed my eyes, not opening them...

Jessica's POV
After I had checked Leo if he was okay, he then started looking red. He was hiding his face. "Aww~ Is he finally starting to like Jessica back?" Puff teased him. "Shut up! This is your fault! Why do I even feel these emotions when I'm with her!?" Leo screamed. For a second, I felt like my heart had beaten faster than before. But.. how? He was such a jerk before. He couldn't just, suddenly be kind. And then after that, Leo seemed to look weird. "Hey Leo are you-" But then, he fainted. Leo fainted! As I ran over to his side, catching him, I saw that his nose was a bit red. He fainted and had a nosebleed! Gosh! How bad is your sickness?!

"Sheesh, maybe he likes you that much, Jess." Puff said. "Puff, please not now. This could be seri-" "It's okay, he'll be fine. I mean, he just fainted with a nosebleed." X said, cutting me. I mean, that's true. Well, I guess we shouldn't worry about him for now. "Well, want to swim now?" X asked. "Sure. But, what about Leo?" I asked back. "Just put him at like uh, those seating when people want to bathe." Puff said. "And leave him there?" I asked her again. She hummed in response. We all agreed, and left Leo at a seat somewhere. We then went inside the nearby changing rooms to change. Puff was wearing a normal swimming suit. It even had a cute small skirt on it! I was wearing the striped swimming suit. It looked plain, but it was all I had.

X then came out. Her swimming suit was normal. She didn't seem very happy with it though? "It looks cute." Okay, never mind. She looks unhappy though. "I like it." X then said. "That's good news!" Puff said. "I thank you, Puff." X said. She was smiling?! I swear, for the past few days I've met X, I've never seen her smile! Her smile looks so.. innocent. For a moment, she saw me looking at her. She then frowned. Aw man.. her smile looked so cute, though! "Oh yeah, Puff?" I asked. She hummed in response. "Can you zip this part?" "Oh sure." After that, we went out.

It looked so beautiful. I just wished Leo was here. Sadly he's sleeping. Well, I guess we can have fun now. I immediately went inside the water, and splashed myself in the cool-cold water. Puff then joined me, screaming "Cannonball". X then joined us too. We all had a really fun time. We were splashing each other. And X was a really good swimmer! I felt like she could swim as fast as a crocodile. Sounds scary though..

Leo's POV
I woke up. I didn't remember anything of what happened. I only remember that awkward moment between me and Jessica. It felt so strange. What even happened? I groaned as I got up, re-dressing myself. Then, I tried to find the others. Just in luck, I saw Jessica at the corner of my eye. I ran over to her. Though, I didn't realise they were already in the water. Seeing Jessica.. Um?

She looked. Good. Well, I meant like, she looked okay, and not bad. Tch, seems like the kid got brighter. As I approached Jessica, there were some rocks blocking the way. I had gone impatient. I need this info. I ran, and jumped on top of some rocks. As I continued to run and jump on them, Jessica seemed to notice me. With a shocked face, she beamed at me, saying "Leo! Some of those rocks are slippery! You could get injured—" My leg then slipped on the last rock. Ah shoot. I then landed on the ground. My hands and feet stuck on the cold water. Though, I felt something else on it. Wait.

I was landing on top of Jessica?!
