Chapter 7: Past Life

A/N: It's a dream chapter. I was too lazy to ask my friend for everyone's pasts, so Imma make up my own. (Sorry if it's bad and cliché ;-;)

"I was so clumsy and stupid. Honestly, thanks for changing that for me."

Jessica's POV
"Your a nerd! Nobody likes you!"
"Guys! It's the teachers pet! We gotta get away from her!"
"Your too nerdy! Why are you even alive?"
"Go play with your maths, smarty!"
"Sorry, I don't befriend nerds like you."

"Stop it. Stop it. Stop it now! I don't care about what your saying! This is just a dream! That was such a long time ago!" I roughly said at my classmates. "Aww, guys. You made her cry!" A boy said out loud before pausing. "Crying is no fun. Let's make her scream, shall we?" I heard my grade III classmates launch they're fists at me. My face was dull. I was crying. I was screaming.

"Help! Somebody help me!"

"It's too late! Your stupid friends won't help you now!"

I screamed at the top of my lungs. It was getting harder and harder to breathe. I was loosing Oxygen. My eyes were full of tears, my classmates kicking and punching me. Then, stepped a girl with yellow hair. "Hey, Jessica! Are you alright?" I heard Puff screamed at me from outside the classroom. "Puff!" I screamed back.

She ran to me, and stopped in front of me. My other classmates made way for her strangely. She then raised her foot, and kicked me. Right in the stomach. I screamed in pain. I spat a little bit at Puff by miss accident. "Ew! Don't get your saliva on me! C'mon guys! Let's get her!" I heard her scream to my classmates and everyone started to gang up on me as I closed my eyes.

I was then in pitch black.

I was moving, and I was in my normal-self. I walked and looked around the room. It was all pitch black. I couldn't see anything besides it. I turned left, right, straight, and behind. A few seconds later, I saw a boy.

It was Leo.

I ran to him, relieved. He seemed to have seen me, and gave me a disappointed look. "Hey, Leo!" "Don't 'Hey' me, stupid." I was shocked to hear what he just called me. I'm going to admit, he WAS a jerk but he wouldn't say something as rude as that!

"Leo, are you okay?-" "How could you ask me that after what you just said!?" I heard him scream at me, cutting my sentence. I was confused. Is this a dream? A nightmare? Yes. This must be. Leo wouldn't be this rude to me, anyways. "What did I just say?" I asked him. He scoffed.

"Don't play dumb, I know you meant it. Your just a useless person who's smart and used me because I was dumb." He said, seriously. I was utterly out of words. I didn't know what he was talking about. All of his words didn't mean anything clear to me. What have I said to make him this mad? I never said anything, have I?

"Then, would you mind if you said the words I just said to you?" I asked him, politely and expecting an answer. "Tch, fine. You called me a—"

Leo started to turn into dust in front of my eyes.

"Leo!" I screamed as he was fully dust.

A few seconds later, the dust rose and there stood Puff. "Hey, Jess. I didn't knew you were that violent. I mean I hate Leo a lot of times, but not even I would say those stuff to him." I heard Puff say at me as she smiled nervously. "If you really hated Leo that much, then I can make you stop meeting him starting tomorrow.

3rd Person POV

Jessica rose from her bed as she started panicking about the nightmare she just had. A part of her wanted to go back to sleep, and the other part made her want to just cry and let it all out for the night.

Jessica felt numb. Her body was aching, and her eyes were red. She felt pathetic as she got up from her bed and made a warm glass of milk.

Jessica sighed as she pulled her phone out to check the evidence of her nightmare. Nothing appeared as she sighed in relief.

Jessica sat on her bed with a glass of milk in hand, and her phone on the other. She took a few sips and placed the half empty glass on her desk near her bed.

She opened her phone and went to see if Leo was online. It was around 2:36 AM, and she was having doubts that he would be. It had only been a few days since they met but, Jessica had an urgent feeling to meet Leo.

She felt like it was a must.

She said a simple "Hey, Leo." to him and waited for his response as she layed down on her bed.

After a few minutes later, her phone vibrated. It was Leo. Jessica smiled weakly as she checked the message.

Leo : Ohi. Why are you still awake?

Jessica started typing as her eyes started to sweat. It was weird. She never really got a strong reaction from her dreams ever since she was little. Jessica started to shudder.

Jessica : Woke up from a nightmare and wanted to see if you were online.

Leo : You expecting some comforting words from me or something?

Jessica smiled. Not that she was complaining, but if Leo did comfort her,  she would feel a tad bit better. Since, he did appear in her nightmare.

Jessica : Would you? lol

Leo : Nah. Why would I?

Jessica : I don't know. Guess you don't have the guts to. lol

Leo : You challenging me? Actually, I don't stand a chance. Your too good in everything I mostly do. Except gaming.

Jessica : Well, you do have a point. haha

Leo : Well isn't this too late for you to be awake? :v

Jessica : You said this was a normal thing for you to do.

Leo : I mean it's rare for a person like you to be up late. Don't you need your, uh what's it called? "Beauty Sleep"?

Jessica : The whole " Beauty Sleep" thing was mostly a joke. lol

Leo : Then go sleep now. You have a big day tomorrow.

Jessica : Haha. Very funny.

Leo : Seriously. I'm also busy tomorrow ya know. That was the reason why I couldn't meet you. -_-

Jessica : Alright! Alright! Well good night, Leo.

Leo : Well it's supposed to be "good morning" now but okay.

Jessica : Shut up. lol

Jessica was satisfied as she took her phone down and relaxed. She started to feel tired after the events that had just happened. She closed her eyes and went back to Dream Land.

Okay y'all I am so sorry for not uploading in such a long time. I have absolutely zero motivation to continue this story and the other. But! I won't be discontinuing this story or the other though! Since it's my first story I've ever made lol
