On a nice day, Jessica was walking on the solid pathway. She was walking to a friend's house just a few blocks away. Jessica was thinking of what she's going to do in her next grade. By the flattering summer break she had after studying for a month non-stop, she finally enjoyed her summer break. Distracted by the ocean of her thoughts, she bumped into a person, who just looked a year older than her.
"Oh my gosh! I am so sorry." Said the Boy. He had blonde hair, a pair of cat ears on top, magenta eyes, and was wearing a purple shirt with a purple jacket covering it. The boy also wore dark grey pants, and folded it exposed the black-ish inside, and wore black and dark grey shoes. "It's alright." Jessica said plainly. "I was in a hurry because my favourite series was starting in a few minutes." Said the boy panting. "It's alright. Why were you in a hurry if it was starting?" Asked Jessica calmly as she swept the dust off her exposed shoulders. "Well, It's because my annoying sister forced me to buy snacks for a movie night this evening." The boy said trying not to rush.
"Well, I also have a movie night with my friend! It's also this evening actually." Jessica said. "Oh cool! What'cha watching?" He asked in a curious look. "Detective Pikachu." After the words came from Jessica's mouth, the boy realised that his show was probably playing and rushed off to the nearest supermarket.
Shouting and running, the boy said "Well I gotta go! Pokémon Is probably already starting by now! Cya later!" And then he disappeared into the road. What a weird dude.. I'm sure I'll meet him again someday.. thought Jessica. She then rushed to Puff's house using all her might in her legs. When she arrived, she politely knocked on the door. After a few minutes, she could hear a sound "Oh wow bro! Your fast! Pokémon's gonna start in 50 sec—" She was cutted off when she opened the door, surprised.
"Oh, I guess he's late for it.. Too bad" The girl grinned laughing at herself. It was Puff! Jessica hugged her. "Whoa hey! I'm here! Chillax, Jess!" Puff said smiling. "Aww, I missed that nickname! I'm so happy to have summer break!" Said Jessica. "Yup, it is fun. By the way, hope you don't mind me wasting your precious time with you spending the night with me!" Said Puff trying to be sarcastic. "Yeah sure! I don't mind!" Jessica said happily. I finally get to spend time with my bestie. I feel so happy right now! Jessica thought smiling to herself, forgetting that she was daydreaming.
"Hello? Earth to Jessica!" Puff said trying to cut her daydreaming. "Ah yes! Sorry, I was daydreaming on how fun it was to spend time with friends." Jessica said. "Hey, well there will be other guests as well! Hope ya don't mind that as well." Puff said. "Wait really? Who?" Jessica asked curiously, until she was cutted off by the time. "Oh, well I gotta eat lunch." Said Jessica.
"What? You haven't eaten lunch?" Asked Puff confused. "Yes.." Whined Jessica "Ya sure you can run off to your house in this condition?" Asked Puff. A simple "yes" came out of Jessica's mouth, as confused and worried Puff was, she decided to let Jessica run off to her own house to eat.
A few hours later, Jessica prepared her stuff she needed for her movie night and sleepover. As she rushed to Puff's house, there was a girl with brown hair, a blue headband with the word "The X" on it. She also wore a jacket with striped, long sleeves, short pants, and brown sneakers. Jessica just shrugged it off seeing her weird look, and went to knock at the door. Suddenly, she was cutted off by the girl's hand also trying to knock on the door. Jessica jumped at the girl's action. "No need to be scared. Your also a friend of Puff, yes? Then I don't mind." Said the girl clearly trying not to threaten Jessica.
"Names X by the way." She said before turning to the door. "Uhm, Jessica.." said Jessica trying not to sound offended by how X spoke to her. X knocked on the door. Puff opened the door, and gave greetings to Jessica and X. "Wow, surprised X hasn't done anything violent to you, Jess!" Said Puff clearly trying to scare Jessica. "Waahh?" Jessica whined, scared. Puff giggled "Hehe, Just Kidding!" We all went inside Puff's house, and went inside the living room. There, stood the boy, that bumped with Jessica.
Jessica just realised that Puff and him looked related, and asked "Wait, Puff is this your brother?" "Well, yes! He's annoying by the way." Said Puff pointing to him and whispering the fact that he's annoying part. The boy came closer to Jessica, and said "Oh it's you! The girl I bumped into this morning!" "Ah! No, that was my fault.. I clearly didn't focus on my way.." said Jessica trying to take the blame. "Sheesh, at least your kinder than my own sister." He said and after that, Puff screamed a loud "HEY!" across the room.
"My names Leo by the way. What's yours?" He said asking. "Jessica!" As she spoke she took his hand and shook it. Leo just tried to look away, hiding his red face and muttered "Stupid Idiot.. I didn't ask for you to shake my hand...." Meanwhile, Puff and X were photoshopping the two into a couple. Leo obviously couldn't get over it so he chased them around like a Bear chasing its prey. After a few while, everyone got along quite well! Surprised nobody has gotten into a fight or an argument yet. After quite a lot of fun, everyone was satisfied to watch the movie, with no problems! But don't expect much, because I mean, this is only just the beginning.
