"Hey Ben... um, I'm actually at Nate's right now," Zelena said. She was in Nate's room with him, and they were both lying on his bed. Benjamin was telling her that he was at the hospital with Tyler, but he left her money so she could get something to eat since there was nothing at the house, and he knew she was too lazy to cook. "Okay, thanks... I have NA tonight, so maybe I'll just get something with Rue, and I should be home around 9:30ish?" She said.
"Okay, just tell me when you get home, and I'll tell you if I'm still at the hospital or not," Benjamin said.
"I'm pretty sure I'll know if I get home and you're not there," Zelena said.
"Okay, smartass. I meant text me when you're on your way home so I can tell you if I'm still at the hospital or not." Benjamin said, and Zelena laughed.
"That makes more sense, got it." She said.
"Love you, Zee," Benjamin said.
"Love you too, bye." She said before hanging up the phone, and then Nate looked at her.
"NA?" He asked.
"Yeah... narcotics anonymous," Zelena said.
"Wait. You've been clean for like... two weeks, right Zee?" He asked, and Zelena nodded her head.
"Yeah. That's right."
"Zee!"
"What?"
"Fuck you! Come here!" Nate exclaimed, wrapping his arms around her and pulling him into his chest as he started to kiss all over her face, which made the girl laugh and swelled her heart with immense feelings for Nate.
"What?" She exclaimed while laughing.
"I'm so proud of you, Zee," Nate said.
Zelena felt like she didn't know anyone in her life like Nate, he was irreplaceable to her, and she wanted him to be in her life forever.
"I'm gonna get a glass of water real quick, okay?" Zelena said. Nate nodded before giving her a quick kiss and letting her go. She made her way downstairs to his kitchen, which was empty, and she was thankful for that. She didn't feel like dealing with Cal Jacobs right now.
She knew where everything was in the kitchen since she'd been to Nate's house plenty of times since they grew up together. As she filled her glass with water from the dispenser on the freezer when she looked over at the counter, she saw a line of prescriptions, and she completely forgot she was getting water until she felt it splash on her.
"Fuck... fuck." Zelena mumbled, then she set the water down and walked over to the bottle of pills. "Come on, Zee... be stronger than this." She whispered to herself, but instead, she grabbed a bottle and right as she went to open the lid.
