Ashton walked with Michael to the front of the line, as it was moving up, and they were actually pretty far ahead in line compared to some people. Ashton nervously adjusted his crown, hoping that it looked okay. It wasn't often that he was so insecure, why was he so nervous? It's not like he'd be seeing really anybody here worth looking great for. There was Marty, but he was irrevalent. Sure, he was Ashton's friend, but he's seen Ash looking worse. He did work with him, and those shifts did usually start at seven in the morning.

"Names?" The bouncer asked Ashton, and Michael, as they neared the entrance into the club.

"Michael, and Ashton." Michael answered for the both of them. Ashton hated talking to strangers, Michael has known that since he tried introducing himself to Ashton in high school, long story short, that didn't go too well.

"Last names?" The bouncer asked again, and Ashton rolled his eyes. How many people would be at this party where there would be more than one Ashton? He understood if there would be more than one Michael, there normally was. Ashton thought it to be a pretty common name, where as the name 'Ashton', was a little unusual.

"Clifford, Irwin." Michael spoke, and just as he said that, two drunk girls were escorted out of the building by Marty, himself.

"Marty!" Ashton called, getting the older man's attention. Marty smiled when he saw Ash, and waved.

Marty walked towards the two, Michael getting a bit uncomfortable, as he didn't like drunk people, and he knew that Marty was drunk. Ashton didn't mind drunk people, as he normally was drunk. He wasn't an alcoholic, he just liked whiskey sours, and he knew how to prepare them very well. It was high people that he couldn't stand, and that's where him, and Michael clashed because quite often Michael would be smoking a joint in their shared apartment, and that usually made Ashton pretty nervous. They both smoked however, and as stupid as that was, they both found it comforting. Michael was trying to quit, but Ashton didn't see the point in stopping, so he hasn't, and he doubts he ever will, despite the fact that everybody tells him how 'bad' smoking is.

"It's great to see you guys again!" Marty exclaimed, a little too over enthusiastically. "How are my two best friends?" Marty asked, which caught Michael a little off guard since he'd only talked to Marty a few times, but Michael in the end, just decided to go with it, as Marty was drunk, and he probably didn't know what he was saying.

"I'm good, M. How are you?" Ashton asked, and immediately regretted asking that, as Marty began to ramble on, and on about how he just moved out of his old shitty apartment, and into a nice one with his new boyfriend. Eventually Marty got tired of talking, and led Ash, and Mike inside the club, where his party was being held.

When they got inside Ashton immediately took note of the smell of the room. It smelled of vomit and sweat, which wasn't a great combination. The music was too loud, and it wasn't what Ashton normally listened to either. It was Dubstep, and boy did he hate Dubstep. Ashton was more into pop music, but he liked a few bands that Michael liked, like Greenday, or Blink-182. He considered his music taste a bit unusual, but he was proud of it. He loved his 'Queens of Pop', as Michael referred to them as.

"So, who do you think is cute, here?" Michael asked, after Marty eventually left to go hook up with somebody. (or at least that's what Michael was assuming.) Michael was always the one to assume the worst. Marty had a boyfriend, and Ashton certainly knew he wasn't the type of person to cheat in a relationship.

"Nobody, ew. It's mostly girls in dresses that are too tight, ew. Please get me out of here Michael, I'm too gay for this shit." Ashton joked, making Michael snort because he laughed too hard. They walked around, Michael avoiding all the drunk people that he possibly could, but the two ended up running into a bunch of people anyways because they were both clutzy, and awkward.
