(A/N: Song on the side reminded me of this chapter idk.)
Luke stared at his bright MacBook screen, and was close to crying. He felt so happy, Skylar and his video had reached over twenty-thousand views. Luke was shocked. Shocked. He felt successful, and this was only his first video. Imagine what he would be capable of doing in a few videos if the views kept going up at this rate. Ashton walked into the room with two tea mugs, then looked at Luke questioningly.
"Are you alright?" He asked, setting down his tea mug on the side table, and climbing into the big bed beside Luke to see what the Blond was looking at. "You never told me you were a YouTuber?" He said. Luke shrugged. Ashton handed Luke his tea, and he took a small sip before handing it back to Ashton to put down on the table.
"This was my very first video. It already has over twenty-thousand views!" Luke cheered, making Ashton smile at his cuteness. "I met a girl the same night I met you," Luke began, the smile immediately clearing from Ashton's face. Luke sensed his distress, and immediately realized how odd that sentence sounded. "oh no I'm not romantically involved with her, we just became friends because she liked my dress and I got her number because I needed a shopping buddy. Anyways, we met at the mall one day, and I asked her if she wanted to help me start a YouTube channel and she said yeah. So naturally that's what we did. We just posted it earlier today too, and it already has a lot of views." Luke ranted, Ashton hanging onto his every word with his undivided attention. Luke made grabby hands for his tea, and Ashton handed it to him. He took another sip, and smacked his lips. "By the way, this tea is really good."
"I got it from that tea shop in the mall. You ever been?" Ashton asked, drinking the tea. Luke shook his head. "Wow, why not?"
"I always buy too many clothes when I go to the mall, so I never have enough money left for things like tea." He explained, refreshing the browser to see the new amount of views. Luke's video now was close to twenty-three- thousand views. It astonished Ashton, how famous Luke was on the internet.
"Wow Lukey, you're like famous." Ashton giggled, making Luke roll his eyes. "Maybe you're too famous for me." Luke playfully shoved Ashton, and shook his head again.
"Hush, I am not famous. I'm just cooler than you, friend." Luke joked. Ashton tackled Luke onto the bed, Luke tried to get up, but Ashton pinned his shoulders down, and pretty soon they were rolling on the bed wrestling, and laughing. Eventually, Ashton was straddling Luke. Ashton's hair flopped onto his forehead, and he looked into Luke's pure sapphire eyes. Wow. They really were beautiful. "Ash?" Luke asked, after it had been quiet for too long.
"Yeah." He spoke, unsure on how to form a coherent response when Luke's big amazingly pretty eyes were staring up at him. Luke bit his lip, strangely liking having Ashton on top of him like this. They sat, staring at each other in silence, complete silence, just staring into each other's eyes. Ashton's forest hazel ones, and Luke's ocean blue.
"What are we doing u-um..." Luke blushed, Ashton snapped out of his Luke-induced trance. He saw Luke turn away, and push him off. Luke's face was illuminated by the light of his MacBook, revealing the deep red shade of blush on his cheeks. He was flustered, mainly because Ashton was straddling him, and staring deeply into his eyes, but also because he was getting a bit tired. It was almost two in the morning, and Luke normally went to bed at around midnight, and on rare occasions one.
"Hey um, sorry about...that." Ashton apologized. Luke shook his head. "Here's the rest of your tea, it's probably cold by now, but oh well." He said, handing Luke the mug. Luke drank his tea quietly along with Ashton who sipped his awkwardly. He felt so weird now, it was odd feeling uncomfortable around Luke. He had always felt comfortable around Luke, even from the very beginning.
