My Brother's Best Friend

Chapter 3

SOPH’S POV
Brent came over and asked “Hey Soph, my friends and I are throwing a party tonight, wanna come?” I turned to look at Sky and she shrugged and nodded and I said “Sure, if I can bring a few friends.” Brent nodded and said “Of course! The more the better!” I nodded and Brent left. I turned to Sky and said “Wanna go back to the house?” She nodded and said “I’m starting to bake!”  I laughed and we went to the house to shower and relax. About an hour later, Harry and Cam come back into the house. Harry asked “So guys, whatcha wanna do later?” “Me and Sky are gonna go to a party.” “AWW can I come?” Harry pleaded. I sighed and said “Okay.” Cam just stood there awkwardly and I stood up and said “I’m gonna go get ready.” Sky stood up and glared at Cam as Cam cowered into the kitchen. Sky followed him and asked “Are you coming to the party?” he looked at her and he said “Can I?” she shrugged and said “Ask Soph.” he sighed and nodded and walked up to my room. He knocked and I answered the door and he was looking at his feet and he said “Can I come to the party?” I nodded when he looked up, but didn’t meet his eyes. I then closed the door and let out a breath I didn’t know I was holding in. I shook my head and started to look through the clothes I brought and decided on http://www.polyvore.com/sophies_party_outfit/set?id=138058086. Sky then walked in and saw my outfit and nodded and said “That’s cute, Soph!” “Thanks!” I replied back. Sky then got ready herself and put on http://www.polyvore.com/skylars_party_outfit/set?id=138124685. We finished the last couple of touches to our outfit then headed to the living room to see if the guys were done yet. The guys were sitting on the couch playing with their phones and we walked over to tell them it’s time to go. We all left and went to Brent’s place. In about 10 minutes we were there and I jumped out of the car first and I went to the door where Brent was waiting. I gave him a quick hug and then introduced him to all of my friends. “This is Sky, Cam, and Harry.” Brent was eyeing Harry up and down. Harry started to squirm and I laughed at how uncomfortable Harry looked. When we got inside there was only a couple other people. I looked at Sky and said “Let’s go get a drink.” She nodded and we walked into the kitchen and I started to laugh hysterically. Sky looked at me like I was crazy then asked “You ok, Soph?” I shook my head no and she said “What?” I stopped laughing long enough to say “Did you see Harry when Brent was checking him out?” Sky was shocked and said “Is Brent…?” I nodded and said “Yeah, he’s gay.” She looked at me with wide eyes “Seriously?” I nodded and she said “I’ll be right back.”

SKY’S POV

I went over to the guys and said “Cam, can I talk to you for a minute?” he nodded and followed me over to a corner where I asked “Why were you so mad earlier?” Cam scratched the back of his neck and sighed then said “Honestly?” I nodded and he said “Because I was jealous…” bingo! “Were you jealous of Brent getting cozy with Soph?” Cam turned a light shade of pink and nodded sheepishly. I started laughing and said “Aww! Does Cam like Soph?” he quickly shook his head “What? Why would I like her? She’s just Soph, my best friend’s little sister.”
