It was the next morning and Zak didn't get an inch of sleep. He finally gave up and got up. It was around 5am and he got the present he bought for Darryl ready. He went into the bedroom and left it on the bedside table, making sure not to wake him.
He still felt awful for what happened, he didn't know how to emotionally support him and so he did what he thought would be best but it ended up turning out like this. He sighed.
"I love you." Zak said before turning around and making his way back to the living room, his heart still ached. He was nervous for Darryl to get up, worried about how he would react. He went on twitter to distract himself from everything going on. He tweeted
"Hey guys send vid ideas pls ty"
His head was empty, all that was there were the memories from last night. They were imprinted in his mind, they kept replaying over and over.
"Fuck." He said to himself, slouched over.

Meanwhile, Darryl just woke up

Darryl yawned and stretched and he half expected to wake up with Zak next to him but he was wrong. He looked around before remembering what happened yesterday. He sees a pretty bag on his table and he opens it. There's a box with fancy ribbon and everything. He pulled the ribbon and opened the box to see a gorgeous chain.
"Wow. I-I can't believe he got this for me. It's beautiful..." Darryl felt a rush of heat flow to his cheeks.
"I snapped at him for this? I feel so bad oh my goodness." Darryl admired the beautiful chain that Zak had gotten him and he felt overwhelmed. Was he ready to forgive him? Was he ready to be with him again? Did he want to be with him again? He thought for a few minutes, holding the chain and staring at it.
Zak was thinking, he thought that maybe he should get over Darryl and maybe he just wasn't interested. Yes, they had sex, they flirted a lot of the time but Zak thought that was all games when he looked back on them, which of course they weren't.
"Maybe I should text Samuel," Zak said to himself.
Samuel was Zak's ex-boyfriend and Zak broke things off with him because he found out that Samuel cheated on him with a girl. But regardless of knowing he shouldn't go back to him, Zak found himself texting him.
Hey, can you meet up at 12pm to talk?
Hi yeah sure...
Outside Starbucks?
Sounds good
Zak was nervous, maybe he was going to far but he needed to do this for the voice in his head telling him that Darryl didn't have feelings for him.
Zak got ready in some casual clothes like usual and was out the door. Not a word to Darryl.
"Zak?" Darryl shouted, but Zak had already left.
Darryl got up, confused and looked in the living room. Zak had left. Darryl felt even worse knowing that Zak wasn't even here anymore.
Darryl didn't know what to do if he should go to the bottle again or not. He decided to take things easy, maybe Zak just wanted a moment outside or something!

Meanwhile at Starbucks

Zak approached Starbucks and saw Samuel there.
"Hey," Zak said.
"Oh. Hey." Samuel responded.
"Let's go inside and talk," Zak said, gesturing inside.
They both sat down by the window.
"Soo, why'd you text?" Samuel said, staring at Zak with his dark blue eyes.
"I missed you. I wanted to try and make things work out between us." Zak said.
Sam nearly choked.
"You missed me?" Sam asked confused.
"I-I did." Zak lied.
Samuel caressed Zak's cheek with a small smile.
"I missed you too" Samuel smiled.
The two continued talking for what felt like minutes but were hours and Darryl was still at home worried, he tried calling Zak but he got no answer. Zak looked at the time. It was already 4:14pm.
"Shit, I didn't expect time to go so quickly, I should be heading home right now," Zak said.
"Oh okay I see, just text me when you're back!" Samuel said, getting up and hugging Zak before kissing him. Zak was taken aback, he didn't want to kiss him but he did and his lips didn't feel nearly as good as Darryl's.
"No! What am I thinking!" Zak thought to himself.
He pulled away from the kiss.
"I had a good time, I'll see you soon," Zak said.
"See you soon!" Samuel replied.
Zak walked home and as soon as Darryl heard the front door unlock he ran up to Zak. Hugging him tightly.
"ZAK! I was so worried why did you leave me like that! I thought something happened to you!" Darryl said, almost crying.
"I eh...I'm sorry. I was on a date and figured that you needed some time awake from me anyway so..." Zak said his voice breaking.
"A date?" Darryl said, a tear rolling down his cheek, he swiftly wiped it away.
Zak was confused.
"I'm happy that you ah...found someone." Darryl struggled to string words together.
"Me too," Zak said coldly, not knowing if he should show his real emotions.
Darryl went into the kitchen and decided to make some food, he hasn't eaten all day because he was worrying so much about Zak. But since he knew he was fine now, he could eat peacefully.
Zak went on his pc and filmed testing my staff by x-raying video and uploaded after an hour of filming and an hour of editing. Darryl had made some food earlier and Zak took some leftovers and heated them up in the microwave. He went back into the bedroom and sat on the bed to eat. It was an omelette and it was pretty good. Darryl and Zak weren't talking, things were quiet and Zak didn't know if he should say anything or not and so he didn't. He just ate in silence whilst Darryl was on his phone. It was 8pm. Darryl had fallen asleep and started snoring. Zak turned around and looked at him.
"I know you're sleeping right now. But I'm sorry. You were hurt when I told you I went on a date. But why?" Zak sighed, laying down next to him.
Zak spent an hour or so on his phone, reading comments on his latest video. A lot of people wanted him to film with Darryl again. He wasn't sure, they were both awkward at the moment since Zak told him about the date. Zak eventually fell asleep. Eventually
