11-You'll Be In My Heart

Harry's POV:

I walked back over to Ryland. Mal did as instructed, she sent Jay and Lonnie back to the car and walked up to Carlos and Evie. "Guys come on, she's not coming."

"What? Mal?" Carlos spoke.

"No Carlos. Let's go." Mal said. When they got close enough she told them as they went through the barrier at the broken bridge ledge.

I wrapped my arms tightly around Ryland and kissed her temple. I was facing the barrier and she was looking into the Isle.

"You did it! They are letting me stay!" Ryland cheered.

I nodded and let a tear fall from my eye. It landed on her jacket. "Ryland, ye know how much I love ye, right?"

She nodded with a big smile. "Of course I do."

I smiled sadly. I lifted her in my arms and kissed her softly. She kissed back and ran her hand through my hair.

I pulled away and kissed her once more before setting her down and hugging her again, she smelled sweet and it made me want to keep holding on. I carefully kissed her forehead and I looked up at Mal and slightly nodded so Ryland won't notice. "I love ye, Princess."

"I love you too Harry."

"I hope ye will forgive me..."

"What?" As she spoke I pushed her through the barrier while Carlos and Evie grabbed her arms and as quick as the barrier opened it closed. Tears started to stream down my face and Ryland set a hand on her chest. She took in a deep breath "I can breathe normally again." She whispered and looked up. She made eye contact with me and her jaw dropped. She covered her mouth and started sobbing. "Harry." She walked over to the barrier and placed her hand on it.

I walked up to her and put my hand on hers. "Please don't cry, my love."

"Why?" She choked out. "Why did you do this?"

"I need ye to be safe. Ye can't be safe here princess."

She let out a cry of pain and I felt it too. My heart felt like it was physically breaking. "I don't want to leave you."

"Ye must my dear. I'll be ok."

"Please!" She sobbed.

My heart was pounding and I shook my head allowing my tears to fall. "I love ye, remember that."

She shook her head. "Harry, don't leave me please."

"I'm truly sorry Ryland. I hope ye can forgive me."

Jay pulled up in the limo as I said that. Lonnie came running out of the limo with Jay. Lonnie pulled Ryland into her grasp and walked her crying form over to the limo. She looked over her shoulder and cried my name out which shattered my heart.

Jay walked up to the barrier as I pulled my hand away. He nodded and sadly smiled at me. He walked to the limo. Carlos gave me a sympathetic look and turned to the limo. Mal had tears in her eyes, "Thank you, Harry." She turned and went to the limo and Evie looked at me with tears rolling down her cheeks. "You did the right thing, Harry. I'll talk to Ben. You deserve to be in Auradon with her if you want to."

I nodded with a faint smile. "Thank ye, Evie."

She nodded and walked to the limo. I watched them back off the bridge and I leaned my back against the barrier and sat down. The tears wouldn't stop, I'm a villain! I'm not supposed to cry. I guess true love can break any man. I felt like my whole purpose for breathing was just ripped away from me.

After about an hour I stood up and made my way to the chip shop.
