17-How Far I'll Go

Ryland's POV:

I woke up in the middle of the night to Harry struggling. "Harry?" He was shaking and I shook him carefully. "Baby?"

He started whimpering and spoke in a whisper. "Don't touch her."

"Harry!" He jolted forward and gasped. "Hey, you're ok. It's ok."

He took in another breath and grabbed my arms. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to wake ye."

"No, it's ok. Are you ok?"

He nodded slowly. "It was just a dream."

I kissed his temple and nuzzled into him. He took in another deep breath and kissed the top of my head and wrapped his arms around me carefully.

I woke up at 8 and looked at Harry. He was still peacefully asleep. I went to get up but after about 5 minutes of trying, I came to the conclusion that he has a death grip on me. I managed to sit up though and he took advantage of it by laying his head in my lap. His arms wrapped tightly around my waist and his body pressed against mine. I looked at my ring and smiled. "I love you, Harry."

He mumbled something and I laughed. He yawned and looked up at me. "Hey, gorgeous."

I blushed, "Hey handsome."

"When do ye get out of the hospital?"

"Today. They just have to run a few more tests."

He nodded. "Ok." He nuzzled back into me as the door opened. I looked up and saw my four best friends.

Mal started. "Hey-"

"Awwww!" Evie squealed and pointed at Harry.

I smirked. "What's up?"

"How are you feeling?" Carlos asked.

"A lot better."

"Good. When do you get out?" Jay asked sitting down.

"Later today. I have to do some testing then I'll get released."

"Good. You need to be out before school starts." Evie smiled.

Harry sat up. "School?! When is school?"

I laughed with the girls. Carlos smiled and Jay wasn't entertained at all. "School starts in 2 days."

"Ugh." I rolled my eyes.

"That also means there is a masquerade ball on Friday."

"Wait, why do we start school on a Wednesday?" I asked.

They shrugged. "I don't know but that also means that the ball is in 4 days," Evie spoke.

"And that we have to move into dorms tomorrow." Jay continued.

"And since it's been two years since we got here the roommates are changing." Carlos finished.

"But since it's a new year Ben agreed to let boys and girls share rooms now," Mal added.

"Ok, do we know what the arrangements are yet?" I asked.

They all shook their heads. "We won't know till tomorrow, unfortunately."

I nodded. "Ok. We have to promise that no matter what, we will stick together. The 6 of us along with Jane, Doug, Ben, and Lonnie. Deal?"

"Deal." Everyone except Harry said.

We all looked at him and he gave a confused look. "I'm lost."

I laughed. "So no matter what happens this year we will all stand by each other and help out in any way possible."
