The group of pirates stalked around the Isle looking to create some chaos, the leader of the group was dressed in red with a hook being held in his left hand. The hook held sentimental value to him that he knew no one else would understand. Regardless, Harry Hook and his gang of misfits strutted through the market destroying and stealing items left and right. Harry held a bright smile on his face that showed how truly evil he was. Harry hadn't always lived on the Isle, but he hardly remembers the time when he didn't, he was 7 years old when he was taken from Auradon with his father. That's right, Captain Hook wasn't always a bad guy. His history was confusing, but to Harry, it made sense...As Harry disbanded from the other pirates, he stumbled across one of his biggest rivals. The son of Shun Yu, so self-absorbed that he named his own child Shawn. Harry despised Shawn with a passion, he was always a prick to not only Harry but to his sister Holly. Even though his sister was a few years older than himself, he knew he had to protect her. Holly deserved more than anyone on the Isle to be in Auradon, she wasn't rotten, mean, or selfish. She was the most selfless girl that Harry had ever known. She cared about school and tried to learn the best she could considering the schools on the Isle were literal trash. Harry knew that his sister dreamed of going to Auradon, she got all the brains where Harry got all the brawn. After leaving Auradon at age 7, Harry stopped going to school. He had common sense and basic instincts that he survived off of, plus his sister taught him some stuff too but he never was able to grasp the concept of telling time.
Harry stared at Shawn with a stone-cold glare plastered on his face. Shawn smiled devilishly back and started laughing, now there are rumors about people going crazy on the Isle, but this guy had legitimately lost it. He was homicidal and psychotic, Harry set his right hand on the sword that clung to his waist in preparation of what Shawn might do. Shawn's eyes narrowed as he stopped laughing, he bowed mockingly at Harry.
See, on the Isle, there were three groups of kids. The pirates, which is where Harry, Uma, Gil, Garret, Zyra, Amanda, Preston, and Maylee fall. The pirates just walk around and destroy stuff, they aren't afraid to be known, the leader is Uma. The rebels, which was Mal, Jay, Evie, Carlos, Zayn, Everett, and Lily but obviously some of them are in Auradon now, the rebels stole, and were very similar to the pirates only the two groups despised each other, the leader was Mal, the remaining rebels fizzled out and are low key now. Finally, the ghosts which is where Shawn, Grey, Alex, Max, Hunter, Claudia, and Piper fall, the ghosts are tricky, they hide in plain sight, they're silent, and they can disappear easily, the leader is Piper. Then obviously there's Holly who doesn't fall into any of the groups because she doesn't belong here much like her best friend Silas, Shawn's sister. There is also the young kids that don't fall into a group yet, like Dizzy, Squeaky, Squirmy, and Celia.
"Surprised to see me, Hook?"
Harry smiled, "Hardly," His accent popped every time he spoke. Harry wasn't afraid of Shawn and he had proved just how easily he could kick Shawn's ass in a fight, hand to hand, swords, any of it. Harry never backed down from a fight no matter what the odds were.
"Well, I just wanted to check in, Piper is curious about how her favorite pirate is doing,"
Harry smirked, it was known on the Isle that Piper was practically in love with Harry and she had been since he came to the Isle. "Tell her to come out of her cowardly hideout then, she can talk to me in person."
Shawn just smirked, "Be careful what you wish for," He walked past Harry and the two brushed shoulders. Harry turned to watch Shawn leave but he was gone like someone snapped their fingers. Harry just brushed it off and walked to the chip shop where the rest of his crew would be. As he walked, he felt a familiar feeling as he looked towards Auradon, it saddened him to have left only because of his sister. Harry knew that he belonged on the Isle and nothing would be able to change that nothing...
Ryland was laying in her room at home for the first time since school started, she finally felt complete, Ross and her parents were only separated by walls. All she could think about was the events from earlier;
Ryland was sitting at the hospital with her mother and Carlos, they had just taken blood from all three of them and the trio was impatiently waiting for the results of the DNA test. "Mrs. Fitzherbert,"
Ryland's mother stood up and walked over to the doctor, they walked over to Carlos and Ryland with smiles on their faces. "You are her son,"
Ryland looked at Carlos with tears in her eyes. "I can't believe it," Carlos whispered. How could he go through with his plan of stealing the wand now? Especially since after they were at the hospital, the media caught wind of Carlos being Reese. The three were bombarded by paparazzi when they arrived home. Rapunzel took care of them while Carlos was introduced to his father and older brother. There was a giant group hug and Ryland hadn't been happier before in her life. Carlos had told them that he preferred the name Carlos because that's all he's ever known.
He stayed for dinner then went back to the dorms where he told the other VK's. They had all agreed to stay in Auradon which was a huge weight lifted off of Carlos' shoulders.
She never told anyone, but she hated being away from her family, it stressed her out. Now that she had her younger twin back, she felt like her other half was back. Ryland's eyes were heavy as she prepared to sleep, she had to wake up somewhat early for Ben's coronation tomorrow. Evie made Ryland's dress as a favor for being so kind to not just herself, but the other VK's too. There certainly weren't a lot of people trying to be kind to them which angered Ryland, but there was nothing she could do about it. Ryland yawned and shook her head, she closed her eyes and smiled softly as she fell into darkness.
"Ryland May Fitzherbert," The voice circled around her head like an echo. She shook her head, "will you," Ryland continued looking around as the setting was becoming more evident to her. She was on a beach in a two-piece dress, there was someone in front of her, her left hand was being held tightly by the figure. "Make me the luckiest man alive," The blurriness was fading, the colors were becoming more evident, Red and Black surrounded the figure. The voice was deep and carried a strong Scottish accent. "And marry me?" Ryland's head was spinning, she was witnessing a proposal. Her eyes started filling with happy tears. She couldn't see his face though, she nodded her head carefully. He put the ring on her finger and lifted Ryland into his arms. He set a kiss on her lips which transported Ryland in her dream-like state. She was now hugging the same figure but in a different location that she was unfamiliar with. Ryland was wearing leather clothing, she had a hat on her head and a sword hung at her hip. His arms were wrapped around her small form. They were laughing, Ryland's hand found a way up to his face. She moved her thumb swiftly and softly over his lip. Ryland was trying hard to figure out who this figure was, it appeared that she and the figure were on the Isle, which seemed incredibly unrealistic to her. She pushed her hand into his hair and noticed how soft it was, his hair wasn't long like Jay's but it wasn't short like Carlos's. It was a perfect length and it felt like a mess, but Ryland liked it. She smiled up at him still trying to get rid of the blur over his face. In an instant, she was falling. The figure was gone, he disappeared into thin air and so did the building they were laying on just seconds ago. Ryland was floating in a dark, infinite, space, "I love you, princess."
Ryland shot out of bed, she was sitting up and breathing heavily. "Who are you?" She whispered to herself. It was already morning when she woke up, she felt like telling everyone about the dream but crying at the same time because she had no clue who the figure was. She knew one thing though, the man in her dream is her soulmate...
