9-So This Is Love

Mal's POV:

It's been 2 months since cotillion and Ryland has been missing the whole time. It concerned us all. Especially her brother, Ross. He had fallen ill and his parents weren't sure if he'd survive. We have put everything on hold to find Ryland but no luck. I have a terrible fear that she might be on the Isle, but no one believes me except Carlos.

Harry's POV:

I heard that Uma had left the Isle a month ago to bring havoc to Auradon. Ryland and I have been staying in Mal's hideout for the past month. It's hard to think Ryland's been on the Isle for 2 months already. She had been fitting in better and better each day. But she is still extremely compassionate which is her downfall for living here. I was falling more and more in love with her as the days went on. She has become even more beautiful if that's possible. We've been sleeping together every night and I have finally realized that this girl is a gift from god.

Ryland's POV:

I was currently laying in Harry's arms. He was the most comfortable person in the world. My feelings for him grew every day. I was the luckiest girl in the world, the two months I've been here have been some of the best days of my life. I really missed my family but Harry was also my family, now.

I was taken out of my thoughts when Harry spoke. "Lass?"

"Hmm." I hummed looking up at him.

"Can I tell ye something?"

He seemed nervous. I sat up and looked him in the eye. "Of course Harry."

He took my hand in his. "So, the past few days I have been doing a lot of thinking and I'm ready to tell ye the secret I've been keeping from ye,"

I tilted my head. "What is it, Harry?"

His face had a faint pink tint and he smiled at me nervously. "I-" He took in a deep breath. "I love ye, Ryland."

My heart stopped and I blushed a deep red. I felt tears in my eyes and looked into his ocean-blue eyes. "Harry-"

"Ye don't have to feel the same way, lass."

"But Harry-"

"I just had to get it off my chest-"

I cut him off by setting my lips gently on his.

I pulled away from him. He looked shocked. "I love you too Harry."

"Ye do?"

I nodded. "I do."

He pulled me into him and held me tight. I held him back and started giggling.

I was never going back to Auradon, I was staying with my love forever. "Ryland?"

I looked at the gorgeous pirate and smiled at him.

"Be mine, I promise to treat ye like the princess ye are."

I nodded. "Of course, I'll be yours."

His smile was contagious and I covered my mouth and looked away. I was blushing so hard and Harry tucked his head on my shoulder. I ran my hand through his hair gently causing him to nuzzle into my neck making me laugh.

I turned back to face him and he was smirking at me. He set his hand on my cheek and caressed my lip gently, his eyes locked with mine and he looked at my lips and then back at me. I nodded slightly and he smiled and moved towards me till his lips were just centimeters from mine. His breath made me shiver, he smirked again and moved forward, and started kissing me. I immediately kissed back, his soft lips were even more perfect than I could have ever imagined.
