Its my first day of school. My first day of 7th grade. My first day of middle school.
Middle school is so dumb. It really doesn't matter. Elementary school is kinda like a free trial. You can basically do whatever you want, it doesn't really matter , but its your first taste of real school. Highschool is you getting ready for your future, your life. College is you living your life. But middle school ? Its- it doesn't fit it. It's just that awkward year where you do ransom things.
I look at myself in the mirror. I'm wearing a plain black t shirt , with some rose embedded jeans. Nothing that really stands out , just a simple outfit. "C'mon, Cami, we're going to be late!" my mom screams. I run down stairs to see my little sister, standing by the door, so eager to leave. Shes a year younger than me, in 6th grade. She's wearing a white rigged crop top with mom jeans , white vans, a black choker, and a white scrunchie on her wrist. "Wow," I say, "way to be extra, but you look nice." She looks me up and down, and smiles, then frowns. "Thanks , and your outfit is..." she looks at me again. "cool?"
My mom drives us to school. My stomach is churning. I get to school, and walk out of the car. "Bye mom, love you!" I say as I walk out. My head was turned to the car, and I bump into a pole. Yeah, most girls bump into a cute guy , but I bump into a pole. People stare as I pick up all of my stuff. "What a great start" I think to myself.
I go to my first class. Orchestra. "Hello class, I'm Mrs. Dawn, and I love, love , love music! Anyways, today, we are going to...practice seating! Okay, we are not playing music today, but we are going to be assigned music stand partners." However, I was the only one who didn't have to share a music stand. Honestly, I was happy about it.
