Mixed Up

Ch. 6 - "and what is your name, love ?"

"Stressed?" he asked, "Did something happen?"
"Yeah, basically." I replied to him.
"Oh? What happened ?" he asked, curiously and not forcefully
"Well..." I looked around and remembered. "Wait, you were there. The deal with Kol."
"Oh, him..." he grumbled.
I looked at him and scrunched my nose. "What's your deal with him?"
He paused, and looked around.
"Okay, I'll drop it." I said politely, after a few minutes.
"Ah, thank you. I have a...complicated past with him."
"Alright then," I replied to him, "anyways, I never caught your name."
"Oh," he said quietly, " it's Joel."
"Huh. Joel." I said, " kinda rhymes with Kol." I smiled sweetly at him
"Yes, rhymes with Kol." He grumbled again, and then his face lit up. "and what is your name, love?" he said, and his accent stuck out like a sore thumb.
"It's Camille," I said , "or Cami for short."
"Camille," Joel said, " I like it."
I smiled at him. How could someone be so charming ?

For awhile, me and him just gazed into each other's eyes, and he smiled at me.
His smile was enough to melt my heart. I was smiling as well. His eyes were beautiful. Everything was perfect, until we were interrupted by a loud noise.

" CAMI ? CAMI? WHERE THE HELL IS CAMI?"

We both looked to see what the hell was going on, and saw him.
