Packing and Getting the Hell out

Kayla's POV

A couple days after the incident. We were almost done packing up the house and putting it into a unit. I have noticed that the cut line has minimized to a scar starting from my bottom eye brow to a bit under my eye.

I said my farewells to mother and Tony. And thanked my friends for the help and the gifts. I temporarily moved into Loki's home while I was house hunting.

I felt so at ease to have all my demons locked away.

Loki's family treated me as their own. Especially Frigga. I could really open up to her. She felt like another mom to me. Thor was a real card. He loved to annoy Loki, and mock us when we would cuddle or kiss.

Just wait until he started dating Bruce. Then it was our turn to antagonize him.

Besides that, all four of us (Steph,Tones,Loki,me) would go and hang somewhere around town.

I decided to go back to school on Wednesday. Everyone stared at me with an apologetic look and at the same time was horrified. I mean I couldn't really blame them. I looked like I was out in a meat factory. I mean I don't regret anything. I protected the ones who I deeply loved.

I also found out some boy tea that made me total fan girl. Get this.....TONY AND STEPHEN ARE DATING!! Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!

I couldn't be so happier for my bro. I loved him with all of my heart. And I knew Steph was the right guy for him. One he never took advantage of him. Two he cares deeply for him and his problems. Three he listens to Tony and it didn't matter if he had a bad or good day. I could literally go on forever of how they were the perfect couple.

During this time Loki has been taking me some special places as "early birthday gifts". I didn't care just as long as we were together I felt complete.

One of the places Loki took me was on a trail that looked over the ocean. Ocean?! It was very romantic. We even brought food so we could eat dinner there and cuddle under the stars. Oh how I loved this magnificent person right next to me.

Another day he took me to a fair where we spent the whole time of who could get dizzier the slowest. I obviously won. I can with stand any spin ride. I have had experience because Tony and me in the teacup ride is pretty wild.

Another place was where we went on a double date with him and Stephen and had a picnic at our gazebo. With all these wonderful lights all around us.

Everything was making me calm leading up to the court dates and guardian submission. If anything happened I just wanted to be with Tony no matter what.

Loki and I just enjoyed every single part of it. I mean it was our senior year. And we didn't really know our future yet.

When my birthday came I woke up to Loki caressing my cheek. When I opened my eyes he said very gently, "Happy Birthday, my love." I just blushed at him, sat up and hugged him.

After I changed I went downstairs and was greeted Loki's family, Tony, mother, my friends, and Stephen's family.

When I got to the bottom steps, I just yelled, "Thanks this means so much to me, especially at what's going to go down later. But let's just focus on the now and enjoy ourselves!" Everyone cheered and clapped.

We first all watched a movie. We watched The Maze Runner. I was totally hooked. We ended up watching all three movies. The last movie, The Death Cure. I quietly sobbed because NEWT JUST KILLED HIMSELF!!! NOOO MY BABY!!!! FUCK YOU TERESA!!! Ahhh...I need mental help.

Loki quickly comforted me while I was still pissed at the movie for pulling at my heart strings.

After the movies if was time for gifts. I opened Stephen's family's gift first. They had gotten me some black ripped jeans, and a new hat. I thanked them. Apparently my friends put all their money together to buy me 2 tickets to country thunder in the summer. I screamed and thanked them.

Next was Thor's gift. He got me a mug that said "World best "sister" I just laughed and thanked him. Then it was Loki's family. They got me a wide picture frame of pictures of Loki and I out in the gazebo. The other two were of us goofing off with Stephen and Tony. I smiled and hugged them.

My mother gave me a check of....$1000. WAIT..$1000. I stared at her in shock. She responded, "I thought that you could use some money to help search for a home." I just smiled and hugged her.

Next was a gift from Loki. He got me a silver necklace that said "Forever Love" I just covered my mouth as he hugged and kissed me. He was such an amazing boy friend!!

Man I wish I was in a relationship.

Then Tony handed me a gift with a hug smile on his face. It was a multitude of things. The first was a picture that our mother took of us when we were very young. It was of Tony booping my nose with frosting. The next thing was a drawing tablet so I could draw my designs on it and it hooked it up to a computer. I just smiled and hugged him so tightly and kissed his cheek. He meant the world to me.

As everyone left I just thanked them oh so much. I really appreciated everything that they have done. And also how much support they have given for me. They really did care about me. Now I can't wait to surprise everyone with their birthday gifts. Especially Tony and Loki!
