Couldn't Imagine Life Without You

Simply say, goodbye

Kayla's POV

I awoke to the morning I dreaded most, the morning in which I would have to leave behind everyone.

Sigh

I got out of bed and got dressed. My room was barren besides all the bags laid out on the floor. I did my hair and makeup then put them in my backpack full of some clothes and electronic cords.

I started getting all the bags and bringing them down to my car. No one was up yet, but that was ok. I had an 10 hour drive down to Kentucky anyway. Once I finally got the car loaded up, in what seemed like a millions trips up and down the stairs, it was ready to go.

I started making breakfast and then heard two alarms go off.

Nat and Tony are up I thought

Soon I heard some footsteps going around above me. Then about five minutes later doors opening and closing.

Both Nat and Tony came downstairs with sad faces. I got out plates and put the pancakes and eggs I made for them on it.

"Are you sure you have to leave?!" Tony whined.

"Unfortunately, yes," I told him.

"Need any help getting your bags in the car?" Nat asked.

"Nope, car is already packed," I said.

"Wow, your quick," Nat said shocked.

"Heh," I silently laughed.

Soon they finished up and we all walked to the park to hang out one last time with the Memers. Today was also the day that Clint left for college.

When we got there Clint and Pietro ran up to me and gave me a hug.

"Good luck," Clint said.

"You too, ya dip," I said.

"I'm going to miss your dumbassness," Pietro said.

"Ah, so you think," I said laughing.

Then Bruce came running at me with his arms wide open.

"Heyy!" I exclaimed "Somebody's needy," I said hugging Bruce back.

"I'm going to miss you so much!" He said squeezing me even harder.

"Uh- B..ruce n..n..ee..d to br..ea...the," I coughed.

"Oh, yeah, sorry about that," he said.

"Well I guess that I really needed that because I'm really going to miss you too," I said looking down at him.

Then I hear two car doors slam. Loki then tackles me in a hug.

"I wish you didn't have to leave me," he said whispering in my ear.

"I know, it's hard, but you can always call me," I whispered back.

"I love you so dearly much," he said with a shaky voice.

"I love you so much," I said kissing his cheek.

Then he let go of me. Now it was time for Thor to say goodbye. He wrapped his arms around me in a bone crushing hug.

"Be the best you can," he said holding my hand and staring me dead in the eye.

"You know it," I said reassuring him.

Then we all group hugged and the slow poke of them all finally joined us.

"Took you long enough," Clint said.

"Hey, in my defense Donna took my phone while I was sleeping, so I didn't have an alarm," he said with his hands up.

"Yeah, yeah," I said walking up to him.

He pulled me in to a hug.

"Please take car of Tony for me," I whispered in his ear.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of him whenever he needs me," he said looking me in the eyes.

I nodded my head. Then I took out my phone and placed it on the fountain wall. I put the timer on, then ten countdown began. Everyone got in position. The first photo was going to be a serious one.

Then I ran back up to my phone and clicked the button again. This time the photo was going to be a silly one.

Stephen held Tony it his arms. Clint was fighting Nat. Pietro was tsking his boyfriend. Thor clasped onto Bruce having a scared expression on his face. Then Loki and I looked around at the others with a worried look on our faces.

I ran back up to my phone a checked them out. The photos were great and I definitely will remember them by this.

We soon then hugged again as we headed back to our houses. I went up to my car. Nat hugged me one last time. Then Tony latched one to me swinging his legs around my waist.

"I'm going to miss you so much," he quivered.

"You're going to be alright, don't worry Nat will always be here with you," I said my voice breaking.

"I love you," he said.

"I love you more," I said lowering him down back to the ground.

Soon tears started running down his face. I smiled at him as I got it my car. I backed out and drove down my neighborhood for the last time for a while. I waved at him with my own tears spilling down my face.

I just turned on my music and gps and hit the road. I wonder what this new life has for me...
