Because we Care!!

Loki's POV
"NO! Please don't hurt her!" I screamed

"Ah, but you are far too late," he laughed

"Why? Why?! Why couldn't of it been me," I screamed.

"Because you have paid your dues," he said.

"How, So?" I sniffed.

"By letting her go too soon," he laughed evilly.

It's like my whole universe started to shatter. What was a life without her anymore?

"Loki?! Loki?!"

"Mmm"

"Loki, are you alright?!"

"Whaa? Who's there. Please don't hurt me,"

"Shh, Loki it's ok. It's me Thor. I'm not going to hurt you," he said

Then his huge arms wrapped around me. Usually I pulled away, but I needed this. I must of had a nightmare. Haven't had one of those in ages.

"What has gotten you so riled up at two in the morning?" He asked

"Two in the morning?!" I asked confused.

"Yeah," he said

"I'm sorry brother, I really didn't mean to wake you," I said still hugging him.

"It's ok. I'm just wandering why you have had a nightmare, you haven't had one in quite sometime," he whispered.

"I know. I just dreamt that she was killed by her father," I whispered back.

"Loki, he can't get to her. He's in prison, and a highly guarded one in fact. She has only been gone for one day. And she's coming back in only a couple of hours. Remember we get to meet her Illinois friends," he calmly said.

"Oh. I forgot about that. I'm still really sorry," I whimpered.

"No need to be sorry. I would do anything for you brother," he said. "Now I'll be in my room, just come to me if you keep having those terrors."

"Night Thor, Thank You,"

I eventually went back to bed, but woke up 15 minutes later in a puddle of my own sweat. I can't be alone right now.

I got up from my bed and headed out the door. I quietly knocked on Thor's door.

"Mhm?" He hummed.

"Thor it's Loki, I had another night terror. Mind if I come in?" I whispered.

"Of course Loki," he whispered back.

I quietly opened the door, and laid down next to him. He pulled me close, and I instantly fell asleep. I love big brothers. This time I woke up at 8:00am with no sweat puddle.

As I opened my eyes I was confused by the terrain I was in. Oh yeah I was in Thor's room, but no Thor.

Then I heard the big loud thunderous laughter from downstairs, accompanied by indistinct voices.

I crept back into my room, and properly got dressed. Then I stepped out of my room and made my way downstairs.

"Lo Lo!" Kayla said excitedly.

She then ran over to me and engulfed me in a hug. I hugged back then we shared a quick kiss.

"Here let me introduce you to my friends," she then proceeded to guide me to four unfamiliar faces and Thor.

"That's Ally and Nila," she said.

The two girls then waved at me. Nila has some interesting blue hair.

"Then that's Ethan and Matt," she then said.

The two muscular men then made their way to me.

"Nice to me meet you man. She would never shut up about you," Ethan laughed.

"Fuck you! I have a right to talk about my boyfriend," she said slapping his arm.

I just laughed along to her silly antic. Then we all got into a huge conversation about some dumb shit. In the middle of our talk, Thor tapped Kayla on the shoulder and whispered something into her ear. She nodded and proceeded to follow him into the next room.

I was a bit suspicious, so I stepped back a bit to see their faces.

Thor was explaining something  to her, with a concerned look on his face. Then her expression changed to blank. She said something back and then made her way back.

"Do you mind if we steal him for a bit?" She asked the group.

"Awww, this guy is so funny tho," Matt said.

"Sorry, but he's mine," she said then hissed sarcastically.

Then she started dragging me into a separate room with him and Thor.

"Loki, we need to talk about your nightmares," Thor said.

"Why? They don't make a difference. And why do you guys need to interrogate me?!" I snapped.

"Because we care!!!" They both said in sync.

I was taken aback.

"Tony has suffered with PTSD, for the longest time. I can't blame him, that kid has been through some serious shit. Because of all his nightmares he tried to kill himself...for the second time," she said sternly.

I felt my heart crack at the sight of her crying over her little brother. I felt ashamed of how I snapped at her, but why did I? She was trying to help me.

"No... no. I really didn't mean to do that. Please trust me. I never try to harm myself in anyway. I only want to protect you. That's what my nightmares are about. Your father keeps coming back and every time he sets up his attack. I can't bare to see the images flashing through my mind. I'm truly sorry," I said.

She said stared at me, tears coming down her face. I got up and opened up my arms. She quickly accepted the invitation and practically jumped into them. I even let Thor join. They were just what I needed.

We spent the rest of the day laughing our asses off with the Illinois kidz.

"We LoVe IliNoIs! EsPeCiAlLy WiTh ThE pOlAr VoRtEx TrYiNg tO kIlL uS!!!," Nila said distorted.

I laughed until actual tears started coming out of my eyes. Oh gosh.
