Be Alright

P.O.V

A/N : this is like an explanation of how Selena and hailey came to be friends after so many years (so this is the story before the two posted anything on their socials) . Just had to clear that up :)

Hailey

"Drew!" I shouted.

"Drew come down here this instant!!" I shouted louder.

"What is it mom? My head hurts." Drew complains, coming down the steps and into the kitchen where I was standing preparing breakfast.

"Well, it wouldn't hurt if you weren't out with your friends till 4 am last night!" I snapped turning back to the stove to flip a pancake.

"Okay okay I'm sorry mom.." he groaned trying to hug me.

"Fine I forgive you, but don't do it ag- ouch!" I stopped mid-sentence when I felt a strong and painful blow to my stomach.

"Shit mom are you okay? Come on sit." Drew spoke worried and led me to the couch and helped me sit down.

"I think it was just the baby kicking.." I spoke after a few minutes when they pain died down. Drew went back to the kitchen to continue making the pancakes form where I'd left of. I'd trained him enough to be able to atleast cook some pancakes.

Suddenly the door bell rang.

"I'll get it!" Sophia screamed running downstairs.

"I think it might be the present I ordered for th- who are you?" Sophia stopped and questioned someone, opening the door.

"Hey darling, can you go see who's at the door? Sophie's got no idea." I said to Justin who was now walking down the stairs.

"Sure baby." Justin spoke and walked to the front door.

"Selena??" Justin spoke and my heart stopped cold.

"Ooh are you going to be the nanny for mom's new baby??" Sophia spoke cluelessly.

"Sophia, go back to your mother now." I heard Justin speak firmly. Sophia quietened and appeared in front of me a few seconds later.

"Help me get up please." I asked Sophia and she did.

"Now you stay here, I'll be right back." I told Sophia firmly, feeling protective now.

She nodded, confused, and I walked over to the front door.

"Selena. What're you doing here?" I spoke firmly, stepping in front of a gaping Justin.

"I- I came to apologise I-" She spoke in a hoarse voice.

"You don't get to apologise for what you did." I spat at her. I stepped back and started to close the door.

"N-no please. I have no one. My family's abandoned me, everyone hates me.. please I have nowhere to go.." she cried. I couldn't tell if it was fake or not.

I sighed before looking back at Justin and biting my lip. He shook his head no.

"F-Fine.. come in." I spoke and Justin looked at me shocked.

Hiiii. Sorry this took so long. Was facing some reallll bad writers block. But anyways. Here's ya go. But there's more to it, next chapter will be out whenever (idk lol) .

P.s does anyone have any good shawmila books to read I swear I think I've read all of them 😂
