Chapter 2 - S-Rank mission

"Who are you?" Hanna demanded.

"..."

"Who are you?" Hanna demanded. The man in black stopped and raised his hand up to the air very slowly. But, in second, he turned around very swiftly and pointed the gun towards the boy and said, "Dead!"
Hanna narrowed her eyes in grim as she caught his gun with bare hands and strangled him in flash. She whispered eerily, "Not even in your dreams.."

"Shit..!" He cursed under his breath angrily before his other hand tried to grabs her hair however Hanna managed to caught it and twisted his arms behind his back while she holding the other hand to aim the gun towards his neck.

"Erggh.." His face grimace in pain.

"Sshhh.. don't make a sound.."

With her low voice passes softly through his cheeks, he couldn't help but turns his head around. Although is pretty dark inside, with guidance of the moonlight illuminating some part of the room, he can easily see her features perfectly..

Just a simple glance on her, Light instantly got captivated by her looks..

Under this moonlight, she's just look so, beautiful..

Light never thought that looking this woman's face this close could be so difficult for him to look away. Indeed, she just far more beautiful than a picture he saw before.

This is a first time that Light felt this way towards someone..

However, Light quickly shook his thoughts as he managed to regained his senses. He smirked to himself, "No wonder it's a S-Rank missions.."

When she heard this, Hanna asked him seriously, "Why you trying to harm my son?"

He laughed, "Haha, you're an assassin yourself, you should knew better why!"

She frowned upon this as she asked again firmly, "Your motive?"

"Hanna, you shouldn't let your guard down by asking to much question.. to your opponent!"

Swiftly, Light twisted his arms around and escaped from her strong grasp. Then, he kicked Hanna on her stomach before Hanna stumbled backward and hit the edge of the cabinet behind her. Because of the hard impact, the lamp on top of cabinet stumbled and eventually falling down. With fast reflex, she caught the lamp before it touches the floor.

She stared at the lamp that safely landed on her hand, before she looked up. That man no longer within her sight..

Light has escaped through the window like a phantom in the dark..

Staring at the window with her cold eyes, the wind gushes in and flutters her long-jet black hair..

It's  5.30am in the morning..

A black Maybach parked inside the garage before the door on the driver seat opened.

With a briefcase on his left hand, he walked in the house in steady pace. As he closed the door behind him, he immediately smells something toasted hitting his nose. He went to the kitchen  and ended up met this two person that he wasn't expected to be met this early.

"Darling.."

Hanna turns her head towards the voice and smiled. "Sit down, let's have breakfast together.." She took out the sunny-side up eggs from the pan and transferred them to each plate.

On the dining table, this little man sat silently while having this Computer Science's on his hand. As if he got possessed by the book, Jian wasn't aware about his father's arrivals until a warm kiss landed on top his head.

"Papa.." His eyes beamed.

"Mmm.." John Yun nodded as his features softened.

After that, three of them having light-hearted breakfast together..

After then, John Yun and Hanna drove Jian to his school. After they sent him, Hanna and John Yun having a serious conversation inside their car. 

"What??" John Yun looked at his wife in great shock.

Hanna nods lightly, " He intended to kill our son.."

As soon as he heard this, John Yun visibly got upset, "Why don't you tell me last night?"

"I don't want you get distracted by this, I planned to tell after you came back home.."

John Yun sighed heavily as he pinched the space between his eyebrows, "Regardless, you still have to tell as soon as possible, this is a very serious matter!"

Hanna looked at this angry man and said with her crisp voice, "I promise, I will protect my son.."

That man's features instantly softened when he heard this as he covered her cheeks with his big palm. "I know.. but still, you have to tell me no matter how it is, and it doesn't matter if I'm busy at work. If something happened to both of you, I can't forgive myself.." He looked at her with painful expression.

By staring each other eyes for seconds long, Hanna nodded twice and John Yun pulled her into his arms. He kisses her forehead and softly whispered, "Mmm, be good.."

Hanna hugged him back as John Yun looked at his wife being obedient. He then share his thoughts, "Maybe someone makes this attempt to threaten your father.."

Hanna looked up. "Father?"

"Mmm, this could be one of their warning. With father's huge supporters in this election, this couldn't help but arises many haters and opposition's figures and leaders that preventing him to win this election this time.."

"But they aiming Jian, don't you think it's little bit off?" 

"Mmm, I'm aware that, but for now, we have to wait for what they're going to do next. When the time has come, that's when we can decide whether it's really attempt to threat your father or the otherwise."

Hanna nodded, "You're right, that's wise things to do right now.. I'll protect Jian.."

Both of them then looked at each other with full of love in the air as they being in same page again. John Yun kisses her lips passionately and said, "I will assign people to guard you and Jian while I'm not around, and won't accept any objection from my beautiful wife.."

At The Star Corp company.

"Boss!"

A man barging inside the CEO's office with solemnly anxious beamed in his face. "Bad news boss!"

This two gentlemen lifted their head up and looked at that man with sharp eyes on their face. The man in the dark-blue suit that stood in front John Yun's desk asked the IT Manager, Luca Bax, in sharp yet deep voice. "What's the matter?"

Luca gulped hard as this pair of piercing-eyes staring down at him. This man, John Yun's assistant, Aldean Yu, have this intimidating aura with him that make Luca always felt uncomfortable around him.

"Are you forgot how to speak?" Aldean asked coldly.

Luca's forehead broke into heavy sweat as he stuttered, "H-H.W Technology.. they launching a new software!"
