As you gazed at your ex-boyfriend's face, you felt hurt that he was in this situation in the first place. Boy, were you glad he was still fighting for his life, you couldn't imagine him dying at all. For some reason, your feelings hadn't completely faded. Even though Jungkook had made you feel exhilarating, it was overwhelming and you were confused with the both of them.

Who did you actually love more? Could you even call it love?

Your hand unconsciously petted his hair, softly pushing his bangs away from his forehead.  You smiled at the memories you shared, hating how everything led up to the next. Would it have been fine if you guys hadn't broken up? Would Jimin not be in a hospital bed, fighting for his life?

Your hand went towards his, slowly clasping them together, feeling the familiarity again. The way his hand felt around yours made you feel safe, loved and secured but you knew you had to let go of him. He didn't love you the way you used to do or else he would've never even tried to force himself upon you. It was like he needed reassurance that someone loved him rather. with you.

With Jungkook it felt like you were the only two people in the world like you guys belonged together.  As you kept getting lost in your thoughts, you hadn't heard the door open.

"Y/N?"

You turned around to notice Jungkook with a brown paper bag in his hand. Jungkook narrowed his eyes on your hands still holding on to Jimin's limp hands, while you stared at him obliviously.

"You alright there, Jungkook?" You said snapping him out of the jealousy he was feeling.

"Y-Yeah, I just bought you some food." He said as he walked towards you with the brown bag looking even more appetising to your eyes. Your hands immediately left Jimin's awaiting for the bag containing food.

Jungkook couldn't help but smile at your childishness. As he handed the bag to you, you didn't hesitate to open it immediately. Your eyes widened at spotting your favourite burger from the diner.  You were so hungry so you didn't take long before you opened the bag to take it out.

Before you could even take a bite out of your burger, the door swung open to reveal a very frazzled up Namjoon.  You lost all your appetite knowing the fact that Namjoon was Jimin's stepbrother and he hadn't even been informed of his brother's condition, while you were just here eating a freaking burger.

Namjoon glared at Jungkook who visibly took a step back.

You stood up to be able to explain yourself but Namjoon didn't care and went to Jimin's side looking at him resting.

"Joonie I-" Namjoon quickly shifted his attention to you in a harsh glare making you shut up instantly because of shame.

"Just get out, I need to speak with Jungkook alone." He said in a sharp and commanding voice making it hard not to listen to him. You felt the least you could do for him was give him some privacy.

"Yeah, okay." You said in a dejected voice, leaving the room as fast as you could.

Once the door closed, Namjoon quickly turned around, his eyes flashing a dark red often like he was trying to control himself before it turned completely into its luscious red. He grabbed Jungkook by the neck, pushing him against the wall. Usually, Jungkook wasn't scared of anything but he felt scared more than ever. An alpha's anger was always something to be afraid of.

"You keep messing up and I am tired of cleaning up your shit. I am tired of you, you've been nothing but a burden to me. Never once obeyed an order ever since you've found your mate." Namjoon said in anger as the grasp around Jungkook's neck grew tighter.
