Her heart bet rapidly in her chest as she stumbled through the crowd, many turned their noses up at the young woman as she pushed them aside. They were disgusted by the sight of the blood on her dress which flowed from her split lip. Her vision was blurred as a moment of dizziness took over her whole body; a result of the panic that was cursing through her.
Lynette searched desperately for any sign of a familiar face. They had been planning this event for weeks, the assassination of Henry Russell had been their main focus of business. The one incident they had not expected to happen had occurred.
The police were supposed to be occupied with the attack on Sabini's stalls, but instead they had grabbed Tommy and herself. Their plans had failed, she knew that they would both be dead by nightfall. As she was grabbed by a figure behind her, she realised that this was the end. Thomas Shelby was really gone, and she would soon follow.
