"Momma!" I scream in excitement when I see her face appear on Grandma's phone. Momma has been away on tour for a long time but she still FaceTimes me every night so I don't miss her as much. "Hey baby girl, Momma misses you so much!" I hear her say through the screen. I cuddle into Grandma more to stop myself from crying. "Aww baby girl, it's okay!! Momma will be coming home soon!" Grandma says and squeezes me tight, smiling at Momma through the phone. "When Momma come home?" I ask her, sticking my bottom lip out. Momma copies me on the screen, making me giggle. "It'll be on your birthday baby! Less than a week and we can have all of the Momma and baby cuddles you could ever want!" We both smile really big at eachother.
Momma and Grandma start talking about grown up stuff, it was super boring and I don't know what they are saying but I stay looking at my pretty Momma and remember that I get to see her and snuggle her soon. I grab the blankie that Momma got me before she went away on tour and snuggle into Grandma, still listening to them. "Awh Mom, look at her!" I hear Momma say to grandma, both of them staring at me. I hide my face in my blankie and close my eyes and fall asleep against my Grandma, dreaming that my Momma will be here in the morning, back from her tour.
