Stranger | Genma x Shy! Reader

Genma's POV
"Everything looks so calm tonight, don't you think?" Auba asked as I watched night sky. Me and Auba were watching Konoha's gates
"Oi Genma! Say something, it's gonna be a long night if you just sit there without talking"
"I've got a bad feeling" I said without looking at him
"Why is that?" He glanced at our surroundings
"Never mind... maybe I'm just paranoid"
After a while he stood up and scratched himself
"I'm gonna take a look around" he said and then head toward another direction.
(Time skip)

3rd POV
Meanwhile a (h/c) girl was walking through forest she was limping obviously and there was a trail of blood behind her. She glanced at her injured abdomen, "damn it... I'm almost there...just...a little bit longer" she said between gritted teeth when she saw huge gates of Konoha she smiled
"I made it... but...i can't stay awake anymore..."
She collapsed on the ground, unconscious.
"Oi? Are you ok??? Hey miss?" Genma shouted running toward her.

Genma's POV
I held the unconscious girl tightly in my arms she's bleeding, 'is she an enemy? But...she doesn't have a headband.... if I take her to the hospital she might get in trouble ' I thought while running 'it'll be better if I take her to my house, after she was awake I'll take her to hokage-sama'

(Time skip... again🕰😁)

(Y/n)'s POV
'Ow...my body hurts...am I dead???...wait, I remember Konoha's gate, did I make it? Am I in hospital?'  slowly I opened my eyes. I was in a small room 'definitely not a hospital room'. I heard a the door opened and a brunette young man with a needle in his mouth stepped in
"Oh! You're awake. Thank goodness" he smiled

3rd POV
(Y/n) blushed and looked at her hands. "W...who are you?" She asked shyly
"Genma. Genma Shiranui, and you?"
"(Y.....(y/n) (l/n)"
Suddenly (y/n) strat blushing like crazy Genma stepped closer "what's wrong? Your face is red" he asked
(Y/n) kept her head low, her locks falling over her eyes shadowing them.
"Did you, did you changed my clothes?"
"Ofcourse......"

...
...
"You pervert "
Genma's eyes widened with realization "I DIDN'T LOOK I SWEAR "
But it was late. The last thing he saw was (y/n)'s fist coming to his face.

"So, you were attacked by bandits and get injured?" Genma asked with a bruised eye.
"Yes. My destination was sand village...me and my family were supposed to be there in 6 days, but we were ambushed in 3rd day of our journey I'm only survivor" she slowly explained tears stat falling on her cheek.
Before she can say anything else Genma hugged her tightly against his chest. (Y/n) face got even redder if that was possible and her hear t was pounding in her chest.
"W...what are y...you doing Genma-San?" She asked
"I'm so sorry " he honestly didn't know what to say himself, he couldn't even imagine how much pain she was in. They stayed like that for a while,
"We should speak to hokage himself I'm sure he would let you stay here..." he said hopefully
"You...think so?" She asked still a little shy around him
"Positive " he held his hand out for her, a smile on his lips
(Y/n) looked at his hand, somehow she knew that her dark days was over. She hesitantly, took his hand they head to hokage's office.
As they were walking through streets, (y/n) looked at shops, restaurants, people, this village was truly beautiful she looked up at blue sky and inhaled deeply.
Without her knowing Genma was watching her this whole time, he deeply wished that hokage would let her stay in village. After a while they arrived at hokage tower.

"I see..." hokage said, he observed the girl carefully. She obviously was shy this whole time, she stayed close to genma and would answered his questions with nodding her head or short answers. The 3rd took his pipe in his hand and sighed,
"I will let you stay in konoha (Y/n), but, I can't let you live like a normal person, not for a while, do you understand child?" He know she wasn't lying but he was hokage after all and he must've done what was necessary.
"Y...yes hokage-sama, thank you for your kindness" (y/n) answered finally meeting hokage's eyes for the first time. She understood they couldn't trust her easily, but she was determined to gain their trust and friendship.
"Genma do you mind to watch her for a while?" Hiruzen asked turning his head toward the jounin.
"Not at all sir" he answered coolly, but he was happy to be her guard.
"You'll stay with Genma until we find you a proper place to live. Dismissed" hokage then started writing something.
Later that day, Genma showed her around the village, and after their little tour they went to Ichiraku ramen restaurant (or wherever you want).
As they waited for their meals, Genma looked at (y/n) and smiled when she noticed his gaze she turned red and looked away. Genma find her reaction cute. (Y/n) didn't know this feeling, everytime he would look at her, her heart would speed up and she got a funny feeling in her stomach. Could she possibly be in love with a stranger? She looked at starry sky above her head, moon was shining brightly, it was like a sign from heaven, a message for her, that her life would be better from that day, with Genma by her side.
Little did she know that Genma had the same feeling, he wanted to be with her, to help her forget about her past and start anew life, together.
