A/N: My lovelies, I'm suffering from a horrible head cold 🤧🤒 The majority of this chapter was already written because I was so motivated from the feedback of last chapter (thank you all for your comments <3) but please be patient with me as I recover from this illness. And as for my story Blessed With A Curse, I think I've found some inspiration to get me out of the block I was having and I just need to make some changes to the roughly written chapter that I already have for it. Love you all and I hope you enjoy x

Paris is going to be the next chapter! ❤️

Oliver's POV

Mr Bennington called my mum in to discuss the situation what happened at lunch time and my discipline before taking me and Tommy home. You could just imagine how thrilled my mum was when she heard I was involved in a fight and how I had to endure her fakeness in front of Mr Bennington whilst she acted as she cared about me.

A week suspension was my punishment. Even though Jona was the reason why it all kicked off in the first place, but because I was the one who initiated the fight, I was the one who had to be firmly punished for the consequences. The whole thing was absolute bullshit! Jona basically got a slap on the wrist and sent on his way to the hospital because the nurse had claimed his nose was broken. A satisfied smirk met my lips when I got wind of that information and I even caught Josh with an evil glint in his eye too as he was in the room because he was a witness to the fight. Good, the son of a bitch deserves what he got if you ask me.

Right now I was sat in the front seat of the car getting an overbearing lecture from my mum.

"I can't believe you just embarrassed me like that, Oliver. What have I told you before about your appalling behaviour?!" She yells from the driver's seat making me roll my eyes.

"I've been in fights before and you haven't cared." I shrug.

"You broke another student's nose, Oliver! That is totally unacceptable!" she shrieks and I had to hold back the smirk which was twitching at the corner of my lips.

"So what, he hit me too!" I argue back, motioning to my split lip to try and get some sort of sympathy from her but I should have known better.

"Oh, grow up!" She tuts. "It's about time you start taking responsibilities of your own actions, you better hope that boy doesn't press charges against you."

Every word which comes out of her mouth just infuriates me. All she cared about was how my behaviour would reflect on her perfect image and the horror it would bring if her son was sent to juvie.

"He started it, he provoked me! Or would you prefer if I didn't stick up for Tom at all? Let him get bullied by an older student in front of the whole school?" I was beyond frustrated because nothing I said was getting through to her. I seriously wanted to strangle her right now.

"He's thirteen!" She stated. "It's about time he learned to defend himself." She spoke about Tom as if he wasn't even here.

"He has me!" I yell making her scoff humorously in response.

"Oliver, sweetheart, we both know you won't be around for long when you finish school. The boy needs to toughen up and learn to live without you." She says in a fake bittersweet tone.

My eyes widen in disbelief at how cold she was coming across. I know she wants me out of the house as soon as she can but I didn't expect so soon. I didn't care anyway, I wanted to be gone but I'd always be around for Tom, I'd never leave him alone with this evil witch. My anger boiled immensely and I just grit my teeth trying not to completely explode but I could feel myself slipping...
