We reach the top of the hill, and in the far distance we are able to catch the beautiful view of mountains and the tops of trees. God, I forgot how magnificent this place is.

Clarke, Raven and Abby talk as I look around. I have a strong feeling nothings going to happen here, from the fact that the Mountain Men can't actually leave the facility, unless with protection and that makes them easy to spot.

"We're missing two!" Abby calls out and I immediately look over to the woman, who is approaching Clarke. I almost force myself to move closer and allow myself to be able to hear their conversation. She knows Bellamy and Octavia are gone and I know for a fact she is going to find them. They can't have gotten far.

"They went to find a way in." I overhear Clarke tell her mother.

"A way in? That's not what this mission is about." Abby responds. Then why the hell are we here?

"It is for them."

Abby turns to one of the armed guards, stood besides a tree, his gun in hand. "Find them. Bring them back." She tells him.

"Unharmed!" I call after him, as I turn away from everyone else to collect my thoughts.

Turns out all this was for nothing. We might not get our people back and this new Chancellor doesn't even give a damn.

I turn around and spot Finn throwing a gun to the ground and storming off. I don't think I'm ever going to get over the fact he killed those people. He's a good person. I watch as Clarke runs after him, and Ravens face screw up a little.

Suddenly, I hear a small bang and my eyes tear from Raven to almost a metre away from me, a cloud of acid fog as began to form. "Acid fog!" I scream at the top of my voice, before running for my life into the woods, Tree branches brush past my skin as the fog journeys rapidly towards me, all I can think about is if Bellamy and Octavia are ok.

I have no idea where I'm going but I hope I can find a place.

Suddenly, I feel a hand grab my arm and pull me into a different direction. I don't stop running but begin to be running with this person. It's a man dressed in all black, with grey patterning sewn in. Grounder. I try to pull away from his grasp, knowing he's going to kill me, but he's too strong for me. However I don't stop, and as I almost get away, I fall and hit my head on a rock, becoming unconscious.

My eyes slowly open and I look around, only picturing brown colours as my vision is rather blurry. I immediately place my hand to my head, and feel a wet patch. I shakily move my hand to inspect it and sure enough there's blood on my finger. I sigh to myself as I sit up, remembering what happened to me last. I was attacked by a grounder. I look around and realise I'm in a cave, filled with what I assume is the grounders belonging's. And then I spot him come from the corner, in similar clothes to Lincoln, walking in my direction. I immediately back away as much as I can.

"Please don't hurt me." I cry out, but he doesn't stop coming towards me. I shut my eyes, knowing this is the end, but he brings a wet cloth to my bleeding head instead of killing me. Is he...helping me? I open my eyes slowly and look up at him. He has long blonde hair, and beautiful crystal blue eyes. I wince against the cloth pressing my wound. "Keep still." He finally speaks, his voice is deep and harsh and I obey. "Hold this onto it, if you don't want to bleed to death." He tells me and I slowly grab onto the cloth, pressing it onto my head as he lets go, and walks away from me.

"Hey! Where are you going?" I call after him, but he ignores me. "You're just going to, what? Attack me, then help me and when I ask questions ignore me?" I question and he stops, turning around.

"I didn't attack you. I tried to save you. From the fog." He tells me.

"Why would you do that?" I ask him, curiously, letting my guard down a little.

"You know Lincoln. He's my friend." He informs me, walking a little closer to me. I suppose that makes sense, though I still feel slightly confused.

"Wait- was it you who saved me from the river? After I jumped?" I ask him, realisation sinking in and he nods, as I look at him wide eyed. He then takes a seat besides me, and I don't back away this time. "Thanks. For saving me twice, I guess." I slightly smile, still a little unsure.

"What's your name?" I ask him. "Arlo." He simply says.

"Arlo. Well, my names Ariel. Ariel Matthews." I tell him and he nods.

"A pretty name for a pretty girl." He almost smiles. "Thank you." I politely respond. "Has the fog pased?" I ask, and the small smile on his face disappears instantly. "It has."

"Well, I need to go and find my friends. Make sure they're okay." I almost plead.

"You're injured. When it's healed, or at least slightly better, you can go." He tells me and I furrow my eyebrows shaking my head. "No, you don't understand. They could be dead. I don't know if they found shelter! Please, I need to find out if they're okay." I plead, hoping he'll say yes but he shakes his head.

"When the bleeding stops, you go. It will stop soon, though. Don't worry." He assures me before getting up.

"Don't worry? My friends are out there! How can I not worry?!" I shout at him, but he doesn't respond. Even though he saved my life he seems quite rude. I can't tell if he is or if it's just due to his lack of English. I sigh, leaning against the walk, still putting pressure on my wound. This is going to be a long ass day.

After what seemed like days, yet had been only a couple hours the bleeding had stopped and I had called Arlo over to inspect it. He looks at my wound before nodding. "You can go now." He tells me and I let out a sigh of relief. "Thank you. Where's my rifle?" I ask him.

"You dropped it outside, far from here." He tells me and I look down, feeling like an idiot. "Here." He tells me, placing a sword in my hands. What am I supposed to do with this? I look from the sword to him. "I don't know how to use this." I inform him.

"I can teach you, if you want." He offers.

"How?" I ask him, confused.

"My cave is not far from your camp. If you need lessons you can always come." He tells and I smile greatfully. "Thank you, really."

"You best go now, you're friends will be worried." He tells me and I nod as we both rise, walking over the entrance of his cabe. He then opens it up and I step outside. "Walk straight from here. From there you'll see your camp." He tells me and I smile at him. "Thank you. For everything." He nods at me before closing his cave up and I sigh, looking at the sword and then at my unfamiliar surroundings, before heading to camp
