I had woken up a little earlier then usual, just laying in bed and watching the pink sky from my window.
It was Tuesday, I was planning on skipping again, until a knock sounded on my door.
"Dustin. Go away." I groan.
Dustin has been knocking on my door every two hours-when he was actually home-since Sunday, and My Aunt has been coming in, bringing me food which I didn't eat and was now piling on my nightstand.
Two people walked into my room, which I thought I would never see together.
I furrowed my eyebrows,
"Your aunt let us in." Billy tells me, pursing his lips and leaning against the wall.
"Hey," Steve whispered sitting on the edge of my bed, "Billy told me what happened."
"Hi." I simply said, looking back out the window.
"I know your mad at me-" Steve started, but I cut him off.
"I'm not mad." I tell him, shaking my head. "I get it. You were sad, and wanted to be alone. I should've taken a hint."
"Ouch." Billy speaks up, catching on to what I was saying.
Steve sighs, "You should really go to school today."
I shake my head once again, "No."
"Yeah, come on, it'll take your mind of things." Steve says, giving me a sad smile.
"But my bed is better, I'd much rather be here." I counter.
Billy rolls his eyes, pushing off the wall, "Let's go, I'll drive you."
"What-"
"I'll be waiting, hurry up." He cut's me off, walking out of my room.
I groan, slowly sitting up, hearing a few cracks.
I get up, brushing my hair in my mirror while Steve stayed on my bed.
"Em?" He questions.
"Yeah?" I sigh, brushing through the large knots in my hair.
"I'm sorry about the party." He tells me, picking at my blanket.
"It's fine Steve, honestly. Like I said earlier, you were sad. I don't know what-"
"Me and Nancy broke up." He tells me, frowning.
