Lily and Harry become family to Fairytail and they never been even more happier ever since James died to save them.
Lily had never felt so loved besides her parents and friends of course. Fairytail changed her life for the better and she was so thankful that she met the most important people in her life.
Harry was being cared and treated with love. Had Lily died with her husband and was being treated by her sister and an oaf of a husband, lets just say that Harry would have died by their own hands.
The reason being why Lily escape with Harry in her arms and left the country asap. She wouldn't want her sister to abuse him like she did with her until Snape shows up.
