To be fair, he didn't think the hatred was extended. He only had Petunia was just jealous and would eventually would go away within the passing time. No it didn't unfortunately.
In fact it made things worst between the two. When he died alongside his wife, the rift between the sisters only deepened, nothing but resentment from Petunia. He didn't want to think it was possible but with his eldest daughter personality, it was going to happen ethier way.
He sighs sadly staring down. He should have expected this especially the attitude Petunia carries around her..he should have raise her better to be a human decent being. He tried so hard to..but Petunia was stubborn and closed minded. It was rather difficult to get through to her straight.
