Chapter 2

Alex's POV
She has cancer...

She has cancer...

This phrase couldn't fit in his head, Alex quickly ran to Mr.Washington's office after he received the call as he started crying in front of everyone

When he got there he closed the door and continued crying, Mr.Washington seeing this lifted up from his chair and walked to Alex

"Alex is everything alright?" He asked making more tears spill out of Alex's eyes

"M-Mr.Washington i-i-i" Alex started unable to talk

"Hey, calm down take a deep breath" Alex did as he said "now, what happened?"

"I-I ju-just received a-a call, m-my girlfriend h-has c-cancer" Alex struggling with every word he said

Mr.Washington looked at Alex with a shocked expression "Son I'm so sorry" he said as Alex cried more "You can go home"

"Thank you, thank you so much" Alex said

"It's fine go get your things and go, you're girlfriend needs you more than I do" Mr.Washington said and Alex quickly got out of the room still crying, with everyone looking at him

He started to clear up his desk and getting his things inside his bag to go home, all doing this crying, he still couldn't believe that his Eliza had such a sickness, that got him thinking,

Did she know that she had this?

The nurse said that she didn't answered the call, maybe the nurse called her again?

"Mon ami are you okay?" Laf asked approaching him seeing his red eyes

Alex shook his head and the tears started to spill from his eyes again

"What happened?" Laf asked helping him get his things inside the bag,

"Eliza" Alex said quietly

"What about her?" Laf asked

"She has cancer" he said, tears spilling out from his eyes non-stop

"Oh my god Alex I'm so sorry" Laf said putting his hand on Alex's shoulder

Alex sighed quietly wiping his tears "You're going already?"

"Yeah gonna pick my wife up at her work" Laf said "wish Eliza well for me okay, I hope she gets better, I'm so sorry man"

"I will" Alex said with a weak smile "bye"

"Bye man, get better" and with this Laf walked off of the building

Alex walked off too a few minutes later

When he got there Eliza was happily watching TV

She didn't know then...

She turned around "hey Lexi" she said going to him and giving him a kiss

Alex just wanted to cry at that very moment, she was so happy

Alex putted on a fake smile "hey my world how was your day?" Alex asked as she wrapped her arms around his waist, he decided that she didn't need to know, not yet

Alex wanted so bad to cry, his Betsey had such a sickness, she could dye for it, that's what worried him the most, he couldn't live without her,

"It was good, I started doing a beautiful song" Eliza said excitedly, she was a Musician, a singer, and she had the most amazing voice Alex had ever heard in his life, that was one of the reasons he fell in love with her, and now all of that could be gonne

"You okay Lex?" Eliza asked worried

Alex nodded "yeah I'm fine"

"You sure?" Eliza asked once again

"Mhhhmm" Alex said and kissed her

Eliza giggled and kissed back "I have the best boyfriend in the whole world"

Alex let a tear fall from his cheek

"Lexi?" Eliza said worried "what happened?" She asked giving a kiss on the cheek

"Liza I have to tell you something..."
