The Imagination That Never Leaves

The Imagination That Never Leaves,

Through the minds it weaves,

Cannot bear to separate

From a certain few.

The Imagination feels at home

So it stays within the minds' domes.

Yet for others, it feels as it must pack most bags and move

At a certain age to never return.

Where the Imagination goes,

Who knows?

To another baby, perhaps,

But none of us lose it all.

The certain few blessed with an Imagination That Never Leaves grow up never truly alone,

For they have friends who stay and know

The secrets of the people with a gift-

The Imagination That Never Truly Leaves.
