Home birth - Chapter 8

Yesterday I asked for a free day today because today is my appointment with the doctor. Irie-kun also took a day free from work today because he wanted to accompany me and know how home birth is. We woke up today , had breakfast 🥞, and then went to the doctor ... the doctor checked my tummy and told me that I'm already 7 months and a half 😍. The baby is almost coming ! But we also talked about the home birth :

Doctor👩🏻‍⚕️: Even though you are already finishing your pregnancy , you can still do a home birth. Here , have this. This paper contains many amazing midwifes that can help you. You can call them right after we finish.

Kotoko: Arigato doctor !

Irie-kun: Now which one you would recommend the most ?

Doctor👩🏻‍⚕️: I would recommend Alex. She is one of the BEST midwifes. You won't regret picking her.

Kotoko: Okay ! Then I'll call her.

After having some talk , we left. When we got to the car I started calling the midwife.

Alex: Hi 👋🏽 who is this ?

Kotoko: Hi , my name is Kotoko and I was calling to see if we can meet up with Alex today.

Alex: Ohhh 😂I'm Alex and I think we can meet today , so which hour is best for you?

Kotoko: I think at six will be good.

Alex: Okay , then please send me the pin to your house and I'll be there at six.

Kotoko: Okay 😊

After talking to her Irie-kun and I went to the mall to buy some toys for the baby and a car seat for whenever we go out. Everything turned out good AND we ended up eating in a restaurant !! Plusss Irie-kun let me order as many food as I wanted because I was pregnant😍I already know what the baby will be ( 🤭a girl ) but Irie-kun didn't wanna know until the day of the birth ... who I would've hace thought that he would be te one that wanted the gender to be a surprise! Anyway , it's really frustrating too because there are times that I almost spill out the gender 😩 and sometimes I wanna buy little clothes or shoes with flowers or with words like " daddy's little girl" and things like that but I can't because HE doesn't wanna know ! Sometimes I just wish it slipped away so that it wouldn't be so frustrating but at least we are getting to the end of the pregnancy so I won't have to hold the secret for much longer.

After the restaurant we went to buy ice cream 🍦 and also got one for Yuki which has been having a lot of fun with Konomi now that they are dating ! They go to dates almost every week , plussss they also go to school together !!

After a while we went back home because we were meeting Alex at six o'clock 🕕 . We got home and gave Yuki his ice cream. We watched TV while we waited for Alex. She was punctual and knocked at 5:59pm almost 6:00pm. We welcomed her into the living room and offered her a plate of food which she declined politely because she had just eaten. Then we started taking. She explained everything, she was kind and sweet. It was amazing , after that we showed her the bathtub 🛁 in which I would be giving birth. She said that it was big enough. She also left us her number in case something happens or I need or want a checkup to see if the baby is okay or just if i want to hear the baby's heartbeat. I made an appointment see her in two weeks. After all that and talking about the baby she left. I changed into my pijama and went outside to look at the stars 💫with my baby🤰🏻. Irie-kun was studying in our room for a surgery he has to do tomorrow to a kid in the hospital but after a while he came outside and we both sat outside watching the sky 🌌. He started talking to me:

Irie-kun: I love you Kotoko and I will love that creature that you are carrying right now with all of my heart.

Kotoko: ( I was in shock. Irie-kun isn't the type to show his feelings and when he does is really rare but I still answered) Irie-kun!! This baby will also love you with all of his or her heart and I also love you.

Irie-kun: I'm sorry for eveytime I have caused you to be altered or stressed.

Kotoko: It's okay ! Everything is good now and that is what matters. I hope that we have lots of kids !

Irie-kun: Jajajaja 😂okay , okay ... whatever you say

Kotoko : 😍

Irie-kun: Come on we should get some sleep. I'm not the only one that works tomorrow.

Kotoko: Okay , Okay ... lets go

Then we went to our room and went to sleep after watching a BEAUTIFUL sky 🌌😍🥰. I will always remember this day. Anyway it's true what Irie-kun said I should get some sleep.
