KNOCK. KNOCK.
"I'll get it, Sonic!" Tails raced downstairs and went to answer the front door. "Hello?"
When he opened the door, he saw a rabbit and a chao. "Cream? Cheese? What are you two doing here?" He let them come inside the house.
"T-Tails," Cream said. "It's Amy," she said. "I went to see if she was at her house to check up on her. But, when I got there...She wasn't anywhere in sight."
"No where in sight?" Sonic got up from the couch and went to stand next to Cream and Tails.
"That doesn't sound right." Tails said.
"And when I went to her room," the rabbit said. "I found this letter she left behind, that she wrote to Sonic." She took out a piece of paper and gave it to Sonic.
Tears streamed down her eyes. "Amy is gone forever! She's never coming back here!" Cream was very upset that she got her two fists and hit Sonic back and forth on his belly. "It's all your fault, SONIC!...that Amy's NEVER coming back!"
"Calm down, Cream." Tails said. "We'll find her."
"Chao-chao!" Cheese grabbed Cream's hands to make her stop hitting Sonic.
Cream sniffed her nose and wiped her tears away. "Everything will be okay." said Sonic. "We'll find her with the help from our friends."
"It's just that Amy is my best friend." Said Cream. "How can she do this? How can she leave me? Leave all of us?"
"She was really hurt. She must of had her reasons. Because why else would she have written this letter?" Tails said.
"You're right." Cream said.
"I'm really sorry that she's gone, Cream. I know you must miss her a lot." Sonic patted Cream on her head, to comfort her. "I promise you, that we'll get her back!"
"T-thanks, Sonic." Cream said. "And I'm sorry for hitting you like that. That wasn't polite of me to do."
"No, it's okay. You had the right to act like that." said Sonic. "You were upset and angry. And it is my fault, that Amy left. I was a complete jerk to her." He said. "I was the one that hurt her. And toyed with her emotions."
He walked around the room. "I don't know how. But we'll find her."
