"Studying is us unemployed, only that the parents are proud."

Timothy Tulin hastily rake his fingers through his dark hair, took a look in the side mirror of the white SUV and prepared himself for a heartbreaking and embarrassing scene of farewell.

»Did you hear me, my darling?« his mother repeated from the back seat, once again.

»You call me once a day. AND concentrate on your studies!«

Oh my gosh! Mum?!

»And on all the young, unmarried women,« joked his father, who sat at the wheel with a smile on his face.

Dad?!

Evelin Tulin leaned before and knocked her husband outraged on the shoulder.
»Stop telling him those silly ideas, Eddy!«

That's my mum.^^

Embarrassed about his parents, Timothy pressed himself deeper into the seat.

The car passed the entrance to the campus area and suddenly the landscape changed from a small old town, wide fields and blue sky.

The car arrived in a mess of confused, wandering students, armed with cardboard boxes, in search for their student rooms.

»You see my boy, that's why we rented you a cottage in the area so that you could relax a little after your studies,« Eddy explained to him freely.

So that I could concentrate on my studies, it echoed in Tim's head.

The small family got out of the car and everyone hugged each other warmly.

»I tell you, I won't disappoint you,« Timothy promised.

Before his mother threatened to burst into tears after all, Eddy boxed her back into the car, handed his son the his box and winked at him once.

»As I said, don't take life too seriously and have a little fun, boy.«
Timothy rolled his eyes and finally grinned mischievously.
»Don't worry, Dad.«

He waved to his mum, who had leaned half out of the side window and waited until they were out of sight.
Then he turned around, put the box in front of his feet, threw his arms in the air and shouted:
»Freedom!«

Some passing by students throw counfused glances at him.
Without caring much about it, he digged for the university's info sheet, which was sent to every newly accepted student.

He impatiently smoothed the crumpled paper.

Where the hell is my room?, he thought. Looking at the letters above the line with the Trinity College logo.

A heraldic coat of arms pranced on it. It depicted three roses, two books and a lion.
