TWENTY: a bloody reunion

warning: mentions of groping and attempted sexual assault

"Crazy Cheese?" Carl asks offering me the bottle.

"Nah, I'm alright" I reply.

"Whatever you say Trashmouth" the boy giggles back.

I laugh as I almost trip over one of the wooden planks on the train tracks. "Hey! I thought I was the sheriff!" I reply flaunting the hat Carl let me wear.

Carl opened his mouth to say something but stops when we notice Rick and Michonne standing in front of an abandoned train car. We run up to the train car and notice the writing on the side.

Along with a little map marked with Terminus. I look over to Rick and Michonne, "What do you think?"

After some thought Rick finally answers, "Let's go"

I look ahead to see nothing but train tracks in front of us. We have been walking for so long but we still have so much farther to go.

"We have about a day's worth of water left" Rick says right next to me, "We're lucky it's cooled off a bit"

I nod but Rick hears no response from the rest of the group so he turns around. I follow his movements to see Carl and Michonne balancing on the metal bars.

"What are you doin'" Rick asks in his southern accent.

"Winning a bet!" Carl replies

"In your dreams" Michonne taunts the boy.

"I'm still on!" Carl says while trying to mess Michonne up but just ending up messing himself up.

Michonne laughs, "spoke to soon wise guy!"

Rick and I walk over to the duo and Rick asks, "This might go on a while. Mind speeding things up?"

Michonne nods. "Yeah your right. We shouldn't be fooling around. We should probably... CARL!" she yells trying to mess up the boy but she just ends up falling off herself.

I laugh at the two of them and state the obvious, "Looks like we have a winner"

Carl jumps off the railing, "You heard her, I win! Now pay up" he says offering his hand out. Michonne reluctantly pulls out two candy bars.

"Is that really the last Big Cat?" Carl asks as he chooses the brown candy bar.

"Oh come on!" Michonne complains.

Carl laughs and picks up the bar, "You said winners choice!"

"Go ahead and take it. You won, fair and square" Michonne replies and puts the other candy bar in her bag for later. Rick starts to walk ahead and Michonne follows.

I start to follow the two adults when a hand reaches out in front of me holding half a candy bar. I turn to see Carl with his Sheriff hat on again. I really don't know how he wears it all the time, I got way too hot in his hat and had to give it back.  Carl notices this and sticks his hand out farther, "Come on, we always share!"
