jaden and i kept making small talk.

i looked over and saw noen and chase talking about something.

"wanna go get a drink with me? i'm thirsty, bro." jaden said, standing up.

"uh, yeah, i'll go. i could take something too."

he lifted out his hand, and helped me up to my feet.

i walked next to him, towards the back door.

"so." jaden began.

"yeah?"

"what do you, um, think of noen?" he asked.

a small blush crept onto my cheeks, i shrugged and looked down.

"well, he likes you...a lot."

"are you su-."

"a lot."

noen's pov.

i went and sat down next cynthia.

"did you see what i saw too?" she asked.

"yeah, i don't know what to do, what if he's trying to steal her." i replied.

"he's definitely making moves on her, and i can't help it but get jealous."

"get jealous?"

"well yeah, i've liked chase forever, you know this, noen." cynthia said.

"ohhh, yeah, yeah, i'm sorry."

"who were you talking about?" she questioned.

"oh it was nothing, i was talking about chase too, i just kinda spaced out i guess." i replied.

"are you sure?"

"positive."
