Chapter 17: Unravel Me

Mina's POV:

After that kiss happened, it seems like I cannot fathom that I finally kissed Chaeyoung. We always find a way to meet at least for a bit, just to catch up but we still hadn't talked about what happened. Everything happened so fast, I dont know who leaned in first but one thing is for sure...we both want it.

3 days had passed since we kissed but I cant help bit miss the feeling of holding her. Yes, we meet at least a minute if we can but that's it. I seldom see her in the dorm since I got busy with presenting the case to senior doctors. If I am free, she would be the busy one and vice versa. I only get the chance to talk to her through text.

~texting~~

BbyCub: Mina unnie, are you busy right now?

Me: Ani, Im just finishing up a task but Im nearly done. Where are you?

BbyCub: I'm at the dorm 😥

Me: de, I'll come right away...wait for me

BbyCub: Arasso ❤

I quickly fix my things and put them all in my handbag. I still hadn't eaten my lunch but that can wait.

I walked in a fast paced, I mean I guess I'm to eager to see Chaeyoung. When I got to the dorm, I cant help but think that maybe Chaeyoung is with Dahyun and Tzuyu. I guess I need a reason to talk to her now.

I drop off my bag in the sofa and softly walk to their room and knock.
No one's answering that is why I slightly open the door, seeing Chaeyoung laying on her bed woth her cellphone on her stomach

"Chae" I whisper yell; she then look up surprised

"Omo, unnie I didnt hear you" she sat up " come in, no one's here"

I softly walk to her bed and sat beside her. I quickly kiss her cheek just because. I miss her and it has been just 3 days.

" Aye, what is that for?" She ask while touching her cheek and grinning.

"I just miss you" I say while smiling, I cant help it. She brings this side out of me.

"Where are your roommates?" I ask her, curious to their whereabouts

"They are with their groupmmates putting up an all nighter"

I then grab her hand " so does that mean I can stay here for a while?" I ask her and she just nods.

"We can study together here, Ill prepapre food" she crinkle her nose. Ughhh what a cutie.

We agreed to study together in their room. I asked to get change first and get my things while she prepares our food. I guess you could call this our study date. After a few minutes, I look outside if there is anyone that might come in but good thing, there is no one here yet. I dont need to explain why I'm sneaking out to Chaeyoung's room this evening.

As I get in, I see some snacks on the table and some iced coffee..just the way I like it.

"Unnie, we have here a big table, settle in" she says as she gets the things I am holding at put it in a chair beside me.

I prepared then the materials Im about to study when suddenly Chaeyoung softly grabs my hand making me look up

"Can I hold your hand?" She asks while smiling

"Pabo, youre doing it already" I say. After a few minutes, I can feel her thumb brushing on my hand. It somehow relaxes me and just keeping me in tune with what I am studying.

After a few minutes of studying. She yawns a little and then started a conversation which made me turn my head towards her

"Mina unnie?" She ask making me look at her, anticipating of what she is about to ask

"you're fully aware now that I like you romantically, right?" She ask me. She is so cute, just needs constant reassurance.

"Yes, of course...I wouldn't have kissed you if I didn't" I say while smiling, she's tooo cute 

"That's good, at least we have established that..." she pauses and looks sideways as if she's thinking about something important

"I want to get to know you more" she softly says

"You can ask me anything" I say to her, 

"what do you think if we spend this night getting to know each other better?" I ask her, completely ignoring the book I am reading. She just nods. 

I stood up and pulled her on the bed. We lay down facing one another.  "let's rest for a while..my mind can't concentrate when it is filled by you" I say to her

"Sweet talker you are" she giggles, the things you do to me
A few silence later

"have you had a boyfriend or girlfriend before? And what do you identify yourself as?" She ask me

"I have had 2 boyfriends before  and 1 girlfriend. And I identify myself as bisexual. How about you?" I ask back

"1 ex girlfriend and I am gay." She winks at me.

"What did you like about me?" She sincerely ask, probably curious, but not looking directly to my eyes.

"What is not to like? I like you the first time I met you. It was the start of the school year when you entered our room accidentally. You were so cute then..."

"Just then?" She lift herself up and ask with a bit high pitched

" omo, you're still cute you pabo...much cuter and a lot prettier" I say as I pull her into a hug

"Anyway,  that was your room? Uhhh how embarrassing that was" she says trying to hide on the side of my neck

"Aye dont hide" I say as I pull her into a much tighter hug. I just want to wrap us up in a blanket and sleep like this

"This is quite comfortable, I might get sleepy here" I hugged her tighter, she smells like freshly laundered linen, like a baby

"You can if you want to" Chae says .

We carried on with the question and answer. Chaeyoung seemed to be asking a lot of questions about me. I guess with Chaeyoung, I'm not afraid of her unravelling me. We spent 30 minutes just asking each other random questions; just us in our own bubble.

After a few silence later...
"Chae, I think I should go now" I say but she snuggled closer to me

"Just a moment" she says while her eyes are closed. A few minutes after, she sighed and finally loosen up the hug

"There, I'll let you go now" she says then smiles at me. We both stand up to clean our mess with the table and the food and the books and all.
Finally once finished, she held my hand as she walk me to the door

"I'll see you tomorrow" while swinging our hand

"I hope to see you also....anyway, I should probably go now, your roommates might arrive soon" I say then she gently let go of my hand
